Make Me. DVS1 (Hush / Klockworks), Bill Patrick (Supplement Facts). Friday, February 10th. @ Basing House, 25 Kingsland Road, Shoreditch, E28AA, 10pm - 4am

DVS1 (Hush / Klockworks)
Bill Patrick (Supplement Facts)

Rupes

A huge shout to everyone who came down to see Marcel Fengler tear up Basing House for our December party – by far the best event we’ve ever done.

Make Me are moving things forward in a big way in 2012 and keeping up the lineup pressure with some of the most respected names in underground club music.

Kicking off the year we have two of North America’s finest laying down the beats:

DVS1 – Hush, Klockworks

DVS1’s meteoric rise over the past few years has been nothing short of astonishing. The shift from local hero DJ/producer/promoter in the US mid-west to solo releases on Ben Klock’s Klockworks imprint and extended sets at Berghain is quite a transition, but one that is richly deserved.

His DJ philosophy is that genre distinctions aren’t important—the emotional content of the music is. This focus is readily apparent in the way he moves crowds—both literally and figuratively by fusing together sounds that paint coherent, evocative, and powerful moods that are always appropriate for the time and place he is playing.

We’ll be giving Zak 3 hours on the Basing House Funktion 1 rig to show us what all the fuss is about.

Bill Patrick – Supplement Facts

This is a man who knows how to move a dancefloor.

After a long stint in New York playing at such seminal venues as The Limelight, Vinyl and Arc, Bill is finally beginning to build the international reputation he so richly deserves.

We first saw him play back in August in a strip club in Bethnal Green. Quite the introduction, and without doubt it was one of the most accomplished sets that we saw in the whole of 2011

Excuse The Mess. Ittetsu and Louis Guilhem. Friday, February 10th. @ at a secret location, 9pm - 6am

Ittetsu (Metroline, Fuse London)
Louis Guilhem (Lo*kee)
Alex Nagshineh (Lo*kee, excuse the mess)
Jordi Mas (excuse the mess)
Nick Maleedy (excuse the mess)

Special Guest Set
Camille Hooz (Scandal)
Tony Loi (excuse the mess)

Excuse The Mess returns for our first London event since our huge end of summer boat party with Laura Jones and Matthew Burton. We’ve found a new basement space nestled in between Shoreditch and Dalston which we’ll amp with cranking crystal clear sound, and a lineup to follow suit…

Ittetsu’s productions speak for themselves…deep, dubby and dark. Intricate percussive grooves paired with throbbing bass and slick drums make him one of the hottest names to watch out for right now. With tracks released on Metroline and Fuse London’s excellent new imprint, to name a few, we look forward to witnessing Ittetsu’s sound first hand…

Louis Guilhem’s DJ sets are as unexpected and refreshing as they are delightful. Mixing the latest underground house and minimal with cosmic disco and spaced out funk. It’s these special sets that have allowed Louis to showcase his skills across many of Europe’s best venues. Expect to be taken for a ride!

Joining Louis and Ittetsu are excuse the mess residents Alex Nagshineh, Jordi Mas, Nick Maleedy and Tony Loi, as well as Scandal’s Camille Hooz who will be providing a special disco set upstairs.

This is going to be a 300 person limited capacity event, with the venue announced two days before the party…

Tickets are available from RA which will guarantee entry

Alternatively you can email your name through to the guestlist: excusethemess@live.com

**Warning** - The capacity is limited to 300 people and will be a ticket and guestlist only event!

Joel Mull

Joel Mull is a rare breed amongst electronic music producers. Classically trained on the piano from a young age, Joel's musical understanding goes beyond the traditional primal dancefloor dynamics often associated with techno. Having been bitten by the techno bug before he left school, his career in music began in 1993, and has been moving upwards ever-since, projecting his soulful slant on the techno blueprint and in the process providing the more musical, emotive ying to the colder, percussive yang of traditional techno. As such Joel occupies a special place within the scene, respected for not just his forward-thinking musical output and long, winding sets of deep and melodic tones but also for being a hard-working professional who has spent his time well, progressively working his way up the techno ladder with a consistent, clearly defined musical style.

Agaric

Patrik Skoog isn’t only one of the youngest veteran techno and house producers from Sweden, he’s also one of the most interesting and inspired.
Though incredibly versatile, the sustained energy in his sets and productions are equally exceptional. In the last two years, Agaric established the Club Tracks 10” series on his label We Are.
After more than 100 vinyl releases, Patrik Skoog can look back at quite a history:
His harder Techno project Headroom on his label Native Diffusion, releases on Synewave, Loop, and many more long forgotten underground labels in the 90s and early 2000s left his first mark for those who know.
From 2005 on, he evolved into his deeper Agaric project, with releases on his internationally celebrated We Are label, Adam Beyer’s Drumcode, Truesoul & Mad Eye, Raum…Musik, Sunset Diskos, Nummer, Kontra Musik, Treibstoff and Liebe Detail.

As a technical DJ with a magical sense for momentum and selection, he’s been playing worldwide for more than 10 years, while his equally as stellar Live sets are one of the few that can rock a crowd throughout its duration. Relocating to Berlin in 2007, he quickly established himself as a celebrated constant inspiration, be it for extended Bar25 after hour sets, or club nights in Watergate, Arena, and Berghain’s Panoramabar, where he now holds his We Are label nights.

Agaric’s mature, yet free floating approach to club music culture promises not only sweaty nights (and days) on the floor, but also peace of mind and revelation for the searching soul.

Society presents. Dj Pierre - An Acid House Warehouse Party. Friday, February 10th. @ at a secret location, 10pm - 6am

Geddes bio:
Geddes is one of the true pioneers of the London house scene. Among those ahead of the game when it came to the fragmentation of the super club and the dawn of a new warehouse era, Geddes and his mulletover party crew were integral in the rise of the underground and have helped shape the heart of its landscape and sound in the capital and beyond. When he started the now prolific mulletover events back in 2004, it was through grit and determination and an enduring love for exploring and championing the freshest talent and securing original spaces that Geddes became a figurehead in the evolution of a thriving house and techno scene.

Xenoglossy presents. Ali Renault, Patten and Felicita. Friday, February 10th. @ The Drop, Three Crowns Basement, 175 Stoke Newington High Street, London, N16 0LH, 10pm - 4am

Ali Renault,
Patten,
Felicita
Promoter /
Xenoglossy
Xenoglossy presents another experimental evenings exploration of the live electronic dance-floor focused circuits. Presenting three distinct and different voices from three varying fields...

Performances on the night shall be provided by:

Ali Renault (Cyber Dance/Human Shield):

Ali Renault is the multi-talented DJ/producer working with the most industrious collectives to spearhead new ways of mixing, making and releasing music. Putting out his first official release back in ’95 via Human Shield, Manchester born Ali doesn’t describe himself as a musician. But he does make music. Paying a fastidious amount of attention to his mixes, this now London based lad is always on the hunt for fresh meat to sign, celebrate and deliver via his work at independent record labels Cyber Dance and Human Shield. Moving on from the slower, disco-paced productions he released in the earlier stages of his career, Ali’s focus now is on harder, electro-inspired tracks, collaborating with vocalists Fred Ventura and Marika Gauci on two of the tracks on his first album.

Patten (No Pain in Pop):

By now, Patten is already being described as enigmatic. Combine this with his music – the DSP coldness of timbral choices, use of smothering compression, complex textural layers and a brevity of material – and you have a ready-made set of comparisons to Actress. However, much of his debut album GLAQJO XAACSSO could be compared to the Warp catalogue; the acousmatic elements of Ha Ha Sound-era Broadcast, the heavy processing of Autechre’s Chiastic Slide and many melodies similar in style and voicing to Boards of Canada. GLAQJO XAACSSO‘s sound signature is also particularly reminiscent of Clark; fat, mid-range digital crunch, an abundance of lo-fi recordings, occasional instruments and an underpinning acid tinge to much of the album’s smeared frequencies.

Felicita:

'This may come as a suprise to some of you but there really is deep and dark and totally awesome, forward-thinking electronic music out there that is made by artists who are actually not signed to Tri Angle. Case in point: South London enigma Felicita, who once again has left me awe-struck with his production of thickly layered heavy bass patterns, irresistible beatworks and all the right vocal sampling in all the right places.’ – nofearofpop.net

Also on the night there will be DJ support coming from: Xenoglossy resident DJ plus guest slots from Pleasurezone and Cocadisco DJ's..

Expect soirées into the exotic realms of synth pop, wave music, electro, body music and other rare forms of dance exotica!

As 2012 starts to take shape, it is about that time to dust of the puppets and bring them out to play.

SIERRA SAM (LIVE) (Toys For Boys, Supplement Facts, Serialism)

Sammy Goossens aka Sierra Sam has been active in the electronic music world for more than 15 years. Starting as a party promoter in his home town Liege (Belgium), he shortly hit the studio to produce music for labels like Reload , R&S , Rotation , Pure Plastic , Muller , Teknotika .

A few years ago, he met Marcus Vector and they started their own Toys For Boys imprint , which has been very successful and supported by the major players in the scene .More recently he relocated to Berlin to work as label manager for Jay Haze ' s Contexterrior and TuningSpork . Which brought him to release on both labels as well as Dirt Crew , Trapez ltd , Einmaleins , Time Has Changed , Supplement Facts etc.
Sammy is also a great remixer with work for Tim Xavier & Par Grindvik (LTD 400) , Monika Kruse ( Terminal M ) and Fuckpony (BPitch Control) .

Last but not least , Sammy is a performer : he has played in clubs like Fabric , Rex , Watergate, WeekEnd , Bar Americas, and Bar25 to name a few.

RAYMUNDO RODRIGUEZ (Jaded)

Raymundo is the resident and one half of the established and infamous Jaded afterparties. He is a music enthusiast and excellent DJ who over the decade or so Jaded has been running, has been making dancefloors sweat. It is also seen Raymundo share the booth with just about all DJ’s who are worth sharing the booth with! Expect dance floor nirvana and we are very excited to have Raymundo down.

CANARY FONTAINE (Mean, Serialism)

From DJ sets in Burning Man to Japan, Ollie has a seriously wide ranging musical style. He is different.

ZIPPY (Serialism, Thema)

Working often in tandem with Canary Fontaine, and also solo such as an upcoming ep on Brooklyn’s Thema imprint with Raudive remix, Zippy likes to dream.

H&p Residency Launch. Auntie Flo, Sophie & Drumtalk. Saturday, February 11th. @ Plastic People, 147-149 Curtain Road, EC2A 3QE, 10pm - 3am

After some great parties at Plastic People last year with the likes of It's A Fine Line, Levon Vincent & Lil Silva and our label launch, it gives us enormous pleasure to announce a new residency at the legendary Plastic People. Taking place on the last Friday of every month from March, we've got a bunch of great line ups in store. Stay tuned for more...

With Auntie Flo's remix release just around the corner featuring remixes from Pearson Sound, SOPHIE and Alejandro Paz, it felt fitting to come full circle with another label party featuring the extended H&P fam featuring Auntie Flo, SOPHIE and DrumTalk...

With two sell out releases in 2011 under his belt, a growing fan base which counts Ricardo Villalobos, Caribou, Andrew Weatherall, Gilles Peterson and Jackmaster amongst its members, topping the end of year charts, a smashing live show and an RA championed mix; Auntie Flo's arrival has been triumphant! This year will see the release of mini-album, Future Rhythm Machine, a slew of top remixes for the likes of Photonz, festival appearances, a monthly residency at Glasgow's Sub Club and regular dates at our soon-to-commence Plastic People residency.

Featuring a live set from emerging talent, SOPHIE in whose hands 'Highlife' is morphed into a rapturous synth laden stormer. His own release is due out on H&P in a few months and sounds like nothing we've ever heard before.

We'd also like to introduce a new project from a well established producer. DrumTalk champions the sounds from Africa we're ever so fond of and has remixes on the way for two of our favourite labels; Soundway and Sofrito. His own material is well worth checking and you can be sure that he'll be one to watch over the year ahead.

A Night With.... Sebo K. Saturday, February 11th. @ Basing House, 25 Kingsland Road, Shoreditch, E28AA, 10pm - 4am

Renowned for merging cutting edge sounds with vintage accents, Sebo K is both mobilee’s longest serving artist and its beating heart of house music.

Sebo K is a unique and influential figure within Berlin’s densely populated music community; both crowd-pleasing and credible, he is a bona fide tastemaker who distinguishes himself by exploring the connective threads between classics from Chicago and Detroit, and modern European tech house, minimal, and rolling percussive grooves.

Sebo K launched his DJ career in early-90s Berlin, as an integral member of Alec Empire’s Bass Terror, the city’s first UK-style drum & bass and breakbeat club nights. By the middle of the decade Sebo K had fallen under the spell of stateside artists like DJ Sneak, Glenn Underground and Mood II Swing, and his growing love for Chicago house and Detroit techno began to reveal itself within his club appearances throughout the city. Sebo K has been a resident DJ for internationally renowned Berlin club Watergate since 2002, and through his ‘Sebo K and Friends’ nights, his relentless international touring schedule, and with mobilee’s Back Up Vol. 1 and Watergate’s 04 mixes to his credit, a growing legion of fans both close to home and further afield has been captivated by his unique mix of the old and the new.

Despite a relatively limited discography of original productions, quality over quantity has always been the credo for Sebo K. His debut for mobilee, Too Hot, recalled an era of underground warehouse anthems and launched the then-fledgling imprint into the stratosphere. Its follow-up, the instant classic collaboration with Anja Schneider, Rancho Relaxo, established Sebo K as the up-and-comer worthy of close attention, further cemented by his breakout hits “Diva” on mobilee, and “Saxtrack” for Cecille. Alongside his timeless original productions, Sebo K has remixed some of the most respected labels and artists on the planet, including Poker Flat, Mule Electronic, Radioslave and Efdemin.

Effortlessly transitioning from deep soulfulness, to tough stripped-down sounds, and back again, Sebo K has reinforced the enduring importance of house music throughout the perpetual cycles of trends, and this ability to command a club crowd has been equaled by his exceptional productions.

As Sebo K continues on his journey with mobilee, his rising tide of successes reflects the the vision, passion, and love of music that drives him and the extended mobilee team in all that they do, and all that will come.

John Osborn, Finn Casey, Traves, Sidd, Chrome Gnome

Public House feat. John Osborn (TANSTAAFL, JackOff)
Saturday February 11th
Secret Location TBA

2012 is a new year and we are back with our most exciting party yet, we have pulled out all the stops. We have found a never before utilised space which is mind blowing, sunk beneath the basement of a former biscuit factory, it will mean we can push the custom Funktion 1 rig we are having fitted to the limits. So the scene is set, now who can do justice to this impressive setting?

Well, we wanted to give something really special back to you guys for supporting us through a somewhat turbulent 2011. We have a London debut from a man we have long admired, in fact we were very surprised this is his first time to London. We are really honoured to bring you, for the first time ever, John Osborn. 2011 has been a real breakthrough year for John and we are so happy to have one of techno's hottest talents. Growing up in London, techno was always his passion, cutting his teeth at Andrew Weatherall's Sabresonic nights at Happy Jax. Residing in Berlin since 1999, he has been DJing for 15 years and has crafted a deep dubby style which has been turning heads and shaking asses. From his well documented sets at Berlin's Panorama Bar to exquisite mixes for Get The Curse, mmnmlssgs and Little White Earbuds, the world is waking up with his unique sound ringing in their ears. In a time when artists rely heavily productions to steer their DJ careers, the power, groove and intensity of John's set have allowed him to have won over the masses without releasing a million records. Only recently John launched his new label TANSTAAFL together with partner October. The first ever Bristol & Berlin based record label, showcasing each city's rich musical heritage. With a few projects in the pipeline, maybe know the time is right to drop his sound on the world. Already the label's first release has given John a underground smash with 'Epoch4' bouncing of the walls in clubs all over the world. Needless to say we can't wait to have him join the PH family.

The venue is very, very intimate as always and has never been used for a party before, we will be sparing no expense with the sound at this one, and we expect this venue to really take your breath away. Due to the huge volume of guestlist requests we have decided that we are only going to sell tickets due to the capacity being so tight. You can buy £7 tickets on RA and we will reserve a VERY limited number of £10 on the door. The location will be announced the day before the event. Please don't hesitate to get your tickets in early as we will not be selling a second release or increasing the capacity as we want to insure the party is inline with our ethos. Small space, big sound.

This is set to be our most raucous event

Soundcrash. Ghostpoet (Full Live Show). Wednesday, February 15th. @ Koko, 1a Camden High St, London, NW1 7JE, 7pm - 11pm

2011 has been an eventful year for young Obaro Emijiwe. Recently migrated from the capital city of the West Midlands – Coventry – to the southerly climes of his native London, Ghostpoet has made his mark on 2011 with the excellent debut LP “Peanut Butter Blues and Melancholy Jam” on Brownswood records.

Its series of off-kilter, loopy electronic ditties blessed with his delightfully rambling musings on modern life have gained the soft-spoken Obaro an impressive slew of accolades culminating with his nomination for a Mercury Prize Award, a slot on ‘Later… with Jools Holland’ and a sold out show at Scala.

Set around the release date for his new single which will serve as a bridge between his sophomore effort and a brand new album coming out later in 2012, this will be an excellent chance to catch a glimpse of this rising star at the majestic surroundings of KOKO.

Thoroughly recommended.

A Night For 'Help For Heroes'. Simon Baker, Miguel Campbell, Richy Ahmed, Rob Mello ++. Thursday, February 16th. @ East Village, 89 Great Eastern St, London, EC2A 3HX, 7pm - 3am

MiMo invites you to `A Night for Help for Heroes` at East Village, Shoreditch on Thursday 16th February! Prepare yourself for a fun-filled night of Underground House, Disco and Funk, with sets from some really big Dj`s who have very kindly offered their services for free.... With some fantastic support from a host of different people and businesses we hope to make this a night to remember! Support our wounded servicemen and women and head on down to Shoreditch for an unforgettable event! All proceeds from the night will be donated to the charities: Help For Heroes and Troop Aid.

Chris Jones (aka Chris MiMo) is the owner and head Dj of the London Underground House Night, MiMo. Recently his younger brother, Tim Jones, was very badly injured by an IED whilst on patrol in Afghanistan. Another member of his patrol was killed by the same explosion and several more badly injured from the blast. Tim was very lucky to survive and is now on a long road to recovery with severe injuries to his left leg. Despite his injuries he remains upbeat about returning to the army and continuing his service and the job he loves.

Chris and myself have always supported the fine work of Charities such as Help for Heroes and Troop Aid, so we thought we would use our experience as promoters to raise some money! After seeing Tim and many other brave soldiers receive superb standards of treatment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Birmingham, we realised that it is essential that this level of care and support is available to all our injured servicemen and women. Of course that means everyone pulling together to raise money for fantastic charities such as Help for Heroes and Troop Aid!

So please join us for a really special Thursday night in East London. Support our armed forces and dance the night away with some of the biggest dj`s around. The fun starts from 7pm!

Chicago Skyway
Perseus Traxx -Live
DJ Heart
Free-Care
Jus' Fab
Swimsuit Crew

Chicago Skyway's impact upon modern analogue house has been extraordinary. He's released lush, bubbling and bumping works on the M>O>S, Uzuri and Eargasmic labels, as well as building a ferocious remix catalogue. We're flying him in from Chicago to showcase his incredible ear for deep, analogue selections and his infectious style, plus Windy City influences, which infuse both his production and DJing.

In support will be the similarly awesome Perseus Traxx, who will be bringing a ton of analogue hardware to pump some warm fuzz into the upstairs at the Horse & Groom. Raw, deep and oozing Chicago/Detroit vibes, this will be unmissable for anyone with a love of the 4/4 beat.

They will be joined by local legend DJ Heart, Phonica's Free-Care and Jus' Fb from This Is Not Happening, as well as a second floor lineup to be announced nearer the time.

We are very excited to announce a unique collaboration between Fred Perry's Sub-sonic Live and Andrew Weatherall's A Love From Outer Space club night.

Legend is a term that can be overused, but in the case of Mr Weatherall, the label is appropriate.

The eccentric Londoner played a big part in moulding the UK's acid house scene in the late 1980s. He also produced one of the most pivotal albums of our generation in the way of Primal Scream's "Screamadelica" and over the year's turned his skills to remix some of the best dance tracks to date - Grinderman, My Bloody Valentine, Bjork, Happy Mondays - These are only a few names from a huge catalogue of mixes he has created throughout his career.

We asked Andrew to select the line-up for this up and coming event. From the live acts to DJs. Expect to hear some live cosmic disco rock from Night Angles, through to what Andrew describes as Krautadelia from the Warm Digits. Joining Andrew in the main room will be his Love From Outer Space cadet, Sean Johnston (Hardway Bros), and in the Legends Room, charismatic Scottish deck terrors OPTIMO will provide the tunes. The Discovery Room will play host to Andrew's East London Basement Recording Studio partners in crime, Tim J. Fairplay and Scott Fraser.

Oscillate Wildly presents. Bok Bok, Ill Blu, Elgato & Juno Plus. Friday, February 17th. @ The Rhythm Factory, 16-18 Whitechapel Road , Whitechapel, E1 1EW, 10pm - 6am

After an extended Christmas break we kick off 2012 with a bang back at the Rhythm Factory. Topping the bill is Bok Bok, co-founder of the Night Slugs imprint which has been influential in shaping our tastes since its inception. His show on Rinse, often back to back with L-vis 1990 or another member of the Night Slugs family, is also pretty much our favourite show on the station, where Alex’s blend of old school house, grime and whatever you call the bass heavy music coming out of London now encapsulates the mood of the city perfectly.

2011 was a big year for him with both a solo ep on his own label as well as the excellent collaborative effort with another artist we admire (Tom Trago) and we are happy to have him finally play. Check out a track from their Night Voyage Tool Kit ep: http://bit.ly/AgBKHM

Alongside Bok Bok will be our residents Ill Blu, the South West London duo who were one of the frontrunners of the Uk Funky scene along side producers like Roska and Funkystepz. Looking to build upon the success of last year’s releases on Hyperdub and Numbers, which reached many critics’ end of year charts, they have
been locked in the studio for some months now. Expect some very exciting material from them soon on labels we can’t talk about, but in the meantime check out their recent mix for Bridging the Gap: http://bit.ly/ulVJll

Warming up proceedings will be Hessle Audio’s Elgato. Though he doesn’t have many releases to his name, with just a single ep and complication track to date, the quality of his production is outstanding and 2010’s Blue is still one of our favourite tracks the label has released. Listen here: http://bit.ly/yhcwRM

This time sound tracking our back room will be our old friends from Juno Plus - a London based online editorial hub affiliated with Juno Records and Juno Download focusing on championing the best music that enters the doors of Juno HQ every week: http://bit.ly/Ajs6nU It’s one of the first places we go when we want to discover some new music or look for inspiration, so expect the freshest of the fresh combined with a few cheeky white labels and those underrated B sides all night long.

Roost. Paul Woolford (Planet E, Hotflush, Cocoon, Intimacy), Boddika (Non plus, SWAMP81). Friday, February 17th. @ 7-9 Crucifix Lane, London, SE1 3JW, 10pm - 6am

Paul Woolford (Planet E, Hotflush, Cocoon, Intimacy)
Boddika (Non plus, SWAMP81)

James & Tristan (Roost)
Fold! (HomePark)
Lawson (NTS Radio)

Roost returns for February 2012 with a lineup which we have wanted to pull together for quite sometime.

We roll into 7-9 Crucific Lane, which was chosen specifically for this event as the atmosphere of the tunnels are going suit the sounds perfectly. In addition the newly installed Funktion One system is superb!

Line Up

Paul Woolford (Cocoon, We love!, Intimacy, Hotflush, Planet E)

Very happy to announce that Paul Woolford returns to play for us again!.

After yet another huge year for Paul which has included releases on the legendary Planet E, Phonica Records and releases on his own label Intemacy. Towards the end of 2011 he once again stepped up to the forfront of forward thinking house and techno with "Stolen" released on Hotflush.

"Stolen" produced alongside Psycatron, demonstrates Pauls ability to merge house, bass and techno effortlessly, once again the track is scarred with his signature style of shuffling tom rolls which we all know and love!!.

Following yet another successful summer at Space Ibiza where arguably he brings the most upfront and class house and techno to the terrace. He recently dropped into london town and played at the boiler room, and took the roof off, dropping bombs a plenty including personal edits, upcoming Midland tracks.

Paul is personally looking forward to this party and is infused about the booking alongside Boddika, the venue is perfect and the sound system is mighty so lets get cracking!

Boddika (non plus+, SWAMP81)

Boddika’s sounds are shaking the scene to its very core, slamming down with a raw take on things that’s making all journalists scramble for the right genre tag. Is it electro? Techno? Old? New? Harking the expansive sounds of Luke Vibert, the analogue programming of Juan Atkins early work, and the rawness of the Drexciya/Dopplereffekt family, Boddika is the newest project of Al Green, 1/2 of the boundary-pushing duo that’s re-written the rules completely, Instra:mental.

Every production be it his own tracks or collaborations come with Boddikas' signature layers of full, analogue sounds that are as intense as they are immaculate. With almost juke-fuelled vocal chants, innovative drum patterns that morph and develop with each bar, and deep, mechanic stabs, there’s hardly any trace of the bass genres Green may be known for, but yet it doesn’t quite fit comfortably in any defined 4/4 box either. In short: it sounds like absolutely nothing else.

Al, runs the infamous non plus records which is going from strength to strength with a run of releases which include Kaseem Mosse, Lowtec, Actress, Skream, Jon Convex and d bridge. If you haven't checked the label do so. Lowtec "cold red" has been dropped by Roost residents left right and centre!.

2012 is going to be an total smash for Boddika. Put Boddika and Joy O in a room and you are going to get pure dance floor music. Currently they have about 5 dubs which are being dropped by pretty much every known house, bass, techno dj out there. These include "Swims", "Mercy", "Dun Dun" and "Froth"....the list goes on

Fold!:

The man behind the Fold alias is Rob Glassett, also one half of the London-based deep house duo HomePark. This project sees him explore a faster tempo, experimenting with both house and garage sounds whilst retaining select elements of deep house. The quality of recent releases which include ‘Deployming’ displays the talent Fold’s has to offer. Rob joins us again to play at Roost following some of his recent gigs including Northern Purpose at LIFE alongside Joy O. Check some Fold! releases/fresh tracks here

Lawson:

Playing what is always an incredibly fresh selection of house, techno, bass and other forms electronic music, Lawson has gained a great following from his NTS Radio show. With recent appearances across some of London's top venues, Lawson is most definitely one to watch!.

Last but no means least, roost residents James Wright & Tristan Grace will be bring their sounds to crucifix arch!

Tief. Prosumer, Axel Boman, San Soda, Midland, Dan Beaumont & More. Saturday, February 18th. @ Corsica Studios, 5 Elephant Road, London, SE17 1LB, 10pm - 6am

Prosumer (Ostgut Ton)
Axel Boman (Pampa / Studio Barnhus)
San Soda (We Play House / FCL)
Midland (Aus / Phonica)
Dan Beaumont (Disco Bloodbath / DSS)
Zoo Look (Tenth Circle)

Plus Residents;
Hesseltime
Thick As Thieves
John Malcolm Moore

On Saturday the 18th of February, Corsica Studios invites you to the fourth edition of Tief with possibly our most fitting bookings to date.

Tief welcome house music connoisseur Prosumer to headline the bill with a 3 set. As well as running Berlins pronound record shop ‘Hard Wax’, Prosumer is resident at Berlin’s world class Panorama bar and releases under the heavyweight Ostgut Ton label. Experience a journey through the record collection of one of the most knowledgeable figures in house and techno

San Soda (one half of vocal house sensations FCL) offers strong support in room 1. San Soda has earned a reputation as one of the most consistent underground house producer/djs around. FCL played along side Motor City Drum Ensemble in October at Trouble Vision and span some amazing records, expect more of the same from San Soda as he gets into his stride warming the floor up before Prosumer.

Headlining room 2, Axel Boman flies in from hometown Stockholm to show us what he is all about, pushing a sound that has been described as ‘raw, playful and drenched with oceans of soul’. Axel’s artistic background may go some way to explaining the creative and experimental spin on house music that he has become so well known for. 2010 saw the breakthrough release ‘Purple Drank’ on DJ Koze’s highly regarded Pampa label and with a string of releases and remixes on labels such as Glasstable, Studio Barnhus and Play It Down, Axel really is one to watch. For a taste of Axels booty bouncing dj sets check out his acclaimed boiler room here; http://boilerroom.tv/axel-boman-50-min-mix/

Also with an individual take on house and techno, Midland plays room 2 along side Axel Boman. Midland has had an equally excitcing year. He made his debut in 2010 alongside Pearson Sound aka Ramadanman with their anthemic track "Your words matter". The pair wove, defied and played with a number of genres and, in doing so, Midland laid a clear foundation stone for his vision of how electronic music could be; a sound that is rooted in House and Techno but with the rumbling low end of Dubstep and wide screen experimentation of classic Electronica. Subsequent solo releases on Phonica, Aus and More Music have gained him fans from all corners of the electronic music spectrum including Giles Peterson, Sasha, Mary Anne Hobbs, Joy Orbison and Dixon to name a few.

Warming things up in room 2 will be Dalston Superstore’s Dan Beaumont who will be giving us a taste of his new ‘Jam Factory’ project with a healthy dose of disco from his ‘Disco Bloodbath’ days.
Talented newcomers Zoo Look along with residents Hesseltime, Thick as thieves and John Malcolm Moore will be filling the gaps with their carefully selected house, disco and techno records.

Warm. James Holden & Caribou. Saturday, February 18th. @ Bussey Warehouse, 133 Rye Lane, SE15 3ST, 10pm - 6am

We have been waiting to do this line-up for quite some time so we are more than a bit excited to finally announce that for our first party of 2012 we will have James Holden and Caribou Djing all night long!

Wiggle. Gavin Herlihy (Visionquest /cocoon), Alex Arnout (Dogmatik), Eddie Richards (Wiggle /highgrade), Nathan Coles (Wiggle /is This) Rob Pearson (Evasive). Saturday, February 18th. @ Paramount, Centre Point, 103 New Oxford Street, W1, 11pm - 7am

After another smashing NYE jolly up 385 feet above London at Paramount, that saw tickets sell out a week before the party, Wiggle is back with a bang for 2012 and delivers you lucky people with another stellar line up of pure gold to kick off our first one of the year nicely! We're also extremely happy to have our one and only Eddie Richards, back with us after missing him on NYE while he toured Australia and had the Aussies Jumping around more mentally than a pack of manic Marsupials! Check out this new mix that Eddie did for the Space festival in Sydney ahead of his gig on new years day…. it's an absolute cracker as per!

http://soundcloud.com/eddie-richards/itm-fm

Gavin Herlihy

Gavin's music has been a constant feature on underground house and techno’s most iconic labels for the last few years. Forthcoming releases on Visionquest, Crosstown Rebels, Culprit and Leftroom are backed up by previous outings on scene leaders like Cocoon, Cadenza, Get Physical and Buzzin Fly. As comfortable writing sublime deep house as he is at crafting no-nonsense future techno, few artists have achieved such a broad base of label support as this enigmatic Irishman.

http://www.facebook.com/pages/Gavin-Herlihy/48020163845?sk=info

Alex Arnout

Having started his DJ career in Spain, and in the humble surroundings of many a local bar, the nineties were spent learning the basic skills so often lacking in today’s break-through ‘DJs’. Eventually catching the ear of someone that mattered, Arnout began playing more familiar outposts like DC: 10 and Pin Up in Ibiza, Dance Valley in Amsterdam and Circo Loco in London. On top of that, his finely sequenced journeys through all things house have also won him a residency at London’s definitive Sunday session, Fuse, as well as gigs at the most revered of them all... fabric. Check out the mix below from his Dogmatik label party and you'll realise why we're so excited about having Alex spin for us!

Rob Pearson
A true ambassador of House & Electronic Music, Rob Pearson has mixed it up in clubs from Miami, New York, Germany, Barcelona, London, the South Coast, and all over the UK, throughout Eastern Europe and beyond. With numerous solo tracks, collaborations and remixes under his belt releasing on well respected labels like Plastic City, Reverberations, Area38, Bombis, 3am Recordings & Swag Records along the way. Rob’s own imprints, Evasive Records, (Which has had over 30 vinyl releases) and sub variants Digital, Deep, Retro have all received constant support and plays from the top DJs in the House and Techno communities. Rob’s DJ sets have much variety, from deep, dark and twisted House to slick, seductive and groovy Techno. He is just as comfortable behind the decks as he is making records in his studio in South London (www.onlinestudios.co.uk). Rob has recently been working on collaborations with legendary vocalists Afrika Bambaataa, Robert Owens, and Rose Windross (Soul II Soul).

The team behind [moh-teef] felt that there was a gap in London’s nightlife for a quality, underground weekly house night – and wanted to provide a party where house heads can drop by, regardless of who’s playing, and know they’ll be friendly faces and a great soundtrack. The ethos behind [moh-teef] is to provide an intimate, friendly vibe where residents are joined by one or two guests each week – with a mix of more established names alongside hot new talent.

WOW, if the last Cartuli’s Day is anything to go by 2012 is going to be a good year! 700 of you came to Crucifix Lane and it definitely seemed like everyone had a pretty mad good time…we thank you all from the bottom of our hearts for being such a wonderful crowd!! The party is you.

Big thanks to our guest Alessio Mereu who rocked things hard and of course all our residents including our recent family members DeadEcho who certainly seemed to make you kids dance on their debut!

The year started with a bang but an even bigger bang is coming soon as we have a royal treat for you in February with one of the biggest line-ups we’ve ever held!

NEXT CARTULI'S DAY 18TH FEBRUARY WITH:

-LUKE SOLOMON
(Classic, Rekids)

No-one could debate Luke Solomon’s dance music credentials. From setting up the seminal label Classic Recordings with Derrick Carter to taking quirky house to the UK Top 10 and international charts, with his band Freaks, to DJing around the globe and performing live, Luke has been there for many of the more interesting 4/4 moments of the last decade.

A gig with Derrick Carter in the 90s led the two to become friends, after which Classic Recordings was born. For 9 years, the label introduced the world to the likes of DJ Sneak, Tiefschwarz, Isolee and Freeform 5 and garnered a cult following.

As freaks Luke has had a UK top ten also found themselves remixing the likes of Alison Limerick, Pulp, Damon Alban, Kasabian, The Streets & Duran Duran.

As a solo artist he has had releases on a variety of labels to include the very respected Crosstown Rebels. His 1st artist album “The Difference Engine” was released in 2008 on Radio Slave’s much applauded Rekids label to much acclaim. This album led Luke to team up with Damian Lazarus on his own artist album and Luke co-wrote and co-produced a selection of tracks.

Luke continues to DJ around the world at the likes of Panorama Bar, Fabric, D-Edge and this year will be releasing new material from Freaks, and a second album as a solo artist.

Luke's credentials are most certainly not to be argued with. We can’t wait for him to blow the roof of Cartuli’s Day!

TOM DEMAC LIVE!
(Murmur, Liebe*Detail, Hypercolour)

Tom has not had a bad year, from his 2 stand-out tracks Rivalry with Irony and Slip Slop Slap hitting monthly top 10 and top 30 respectively on Resident Advisor, a healthy year of gigging, taking his Live show to Fabric, Space - Ibiza, Mulletover, Freerotation and many other places in between (collecting a fine selection of club toilet photos along the way), being remixed by Soulphiction, Luke Solomon, Jamie Jones, Wolf and Lamb, Dave Aju etc…to completing his first Live compilation album released in 2012.

In 2011 Tom released with leading labels such as Murmur, Liebe Detail, Hypercolour. The No Fit State compilation with Murmur was also a highlight along with the launch of the new techno project - 'Dense' with good friend Glimpse.

If you haven’t seen Tom Demac play live – you must!

NITIN (Nº19, My Favorite Robot)

In 2008 launched No.19 Music with Label Partner Jonny White of Art Department. Already the label has seen critical acclaim with releases and remixes from legends DJ Sneak, Osunlade, Stacey Pullen and future legends Jamie Jones, Soul Clap and Adam Marshall to name a few. Nitin's debut EP on released in 2009 of No.19 was one of the labels best sellers and received a wide array of press and DJ support.

April 2011 saw the release of Nitin’s acclaimed debut EP on my Favorite Robot Records titled “latenightlife EP”. Licensed to be a part of the "Get Lost" Crosstown Rebel Series mixed by Damien Lazarus is just one example of the huge support this received. 2012 started strong too with a remix package of ‘Latenightlife’ dropping on MFR with remixes from Subb-An, Anthony Collins and Brett Johnson. Combine this with a wax release on London’s Save You Records in March and you can be sure you will hear a lot from Nitin this year.

Playing alongside this lists of guests includes the marvellous:

-KOZBER
(Release Sustain)

-UNAI TROTTI B2B ALEX CLICHÉ
(Cartuli's Day, Jaded)

VERY IMPORTANT!!!
We strongly suggest buying tickets for this event as January was full and we had to very unfortunately stop letting people in which we hate to do! Tickets will soon be available on Resident Advisor with the links to follow!!

Jimmy P

We celebrate 4 great years with a suitably massive line-up. Joe Claussell (Sacred Rhythm, Body and Soul, NYC) headlines the house basement with a 3 hour set. Support from EV resident Stuart Patterson and Roual Galloway (Faith fanzine).

Upstairs King of the disco re-edit The Revenge headlines plus we have a live set from one of Europe's leading beat's producers fLako. Kev Beadle and Jimmy P support for an eclectic mix from disco to dubstep, future funk to vintage boogie.

Needless to say advance will go quickly for this special event.

Shake It. Layo & Bushwacka. Saturday, February 18th. @ at a secret location, 10pm - 6am

We had planned on waiting until April 5th for our next event, as we have a great new space and a 3rd birthday party, but we got all wistful and nostalgic on Wednesday. It's been three years since The End closed it's big silver doors and it seemed we were not alone, so we've decided to throw a very special intimate party... at short notice.

So Shake It will be back with our first party of 2012 on Saturday 18th February with resident international jet setters Layo & Bushwacka! Who'll be fresh back from their two month South American tour, packing glowing tans and hours of hot new music for your dancing pleasure. We've recently come across an amazing little space, not wanting to waste any time we've snapped it up for our first party of the year. This venue is small but has the possibility of becoming a Shake It Classic, in fact I'd hazard a guess it will be the smallest place we've hosted a Shake It with a capacity of only 500 people! And in true warehouse party tradition, we will be keeping the location under wraps for another week or two, so watch this space.

Oh, and I almost forgot to mention, that there'll be a guest... who's an old friend... who hasn't played for us for a while... who we'll be announcing next week...

£10 Early bird tickets are on sale now, available initially through Ticketweb. And yes, I know I say this every time, but tickets for this party will be very limited due to the small size of the venue. So if you're intending to come along please purchase a ticket well in advance.

Bleed. Roly Porter & Umberto. Tuesday, February 21st. @ The Drop, Three Crowns Basement, 175 Stoke Newington High Street, London, N16 0LH, 8pm - 11.30pm

Roly Porter & Umberto @ The Drop
Tuesday February 21st

BleeD explore a new horizon, in the form of cosy Stoke Newington basement space, The Drop. And once again, we've pulled together a bill of disparate, and yet somehow complementary electronic auteurs.

ROLY PORTER | As one half of experimental production duo, Vex'd, Roly's fierce dancefloor productions became synonymous with an emerging dubstep sound. Porter's new solo project, 'Aftertime', leaves the dancefloor to explore a post-apocalyptic soundscape, taking in elements of drone, modern classical, noise and techno. One of The Wire's records of the year, and rightly so, Roly has also been heavily praised by the likes of FACT and Boomkat.

UMBERTO | We missed Umberto's debut London show some months back, so his return is anticipated with baited breath. He's the excavator extraordinaire of occult-influenced synth soundtrack work-outs, reminiscent of John Carpenter and 1970s & 80s shlock celluloid. For fans of Goblin, James Ferraro and Gatekeeper to name but three!

Matador - Live
Plus support from Mixmag residents

We are extremely proud to announce that our very first Mixmag Live coverstar will be Richie Hawtin. Whether under his Plastikman guise or simply as himself, Richie has built a deserved reputation as one of the most visionary and forward-thinking artists dance music has ever produced.

For this exclusive London show he will be joined by hot techno talent from his esteemed m_nus label in the shape of DJ set from Berlin-based Canadian, Hobo, and a live performance from the hotly-tipped Matador.

Richie is the March Mixmag coverstar and has also mixed that issue’s iconic cover CD. The magazine also includes a special ten-page section guest edited by the man himself and focusing the theme of “New Horizons” – for both Plastikman, Richie Hawtin and the m_nus techno family. Every fan who attends the party will also receive a copy of Mixmag and the cover CD, worth £4.50.

As an additional gift, Richie is also giving away the bespoke Remiix Mixmag (New Horizons) app for iPhone and iPad to Mixmag readers. Developed by revolutionary music and technology company Liine (of which Richie is a co founder), Remiix Mixmag allows users to take the stems of classic m_nus tracks and rework and remix themselves. Details of how to access it will be in the magazine.

With a limited capacity, this event will sell out very quickly and promises to be a real “were you there?” moment - so book the Friday off work and grab your tickets now!

Gaiser presents VOID
No Sudden Movements
available as MINUS115 in following formats ... CD, WAV, MP3

This event with Jon Gaiser will be closing party for Matthew Hawtin's solo art exhibition which takes place at the Red Gallery London from Thursday 2nd February 2012.

Perhaps better known for the explosive techno of his recent Minus releases, Jon Gaiser turns his attention to exploring inner dimensions through his new VOID guise.

Stepping away from the dancefloor to present the debut Void album 'No Sudden Movements', the new project finds Gaiser in a mode unfamiliar to those who've come to know him as the manufacturer of incendiary EPs such as Some Slip and Unstable Witness. The LP traverses ambient soundscapes and downtempo rhythms, seeking warmth from a sparser, gentler sound as the cold European winter of Gaiser's adopted hometown Berlin approaches, whilst still remaining committed to the perfection & attention to production detail that has characterized his work as one of the most accomplished & distinctive electronic music producers working today.

Can you explain how and when the Void project same together?

Jon Gaiser: I've been working on the Void project on and off for about 2 years now. A lot of the ideas and feeling behind this project come from experimentation with sounds and production process and also the urge to create something that is easy to listen to, while at the same time having hidden complexity. A lot of the material was recorded during the dark, colder months in Berlin, when it was most inspiring to create something that was bleak by nature and sparse by composition, but using warm sounds to off-balance and provide an escape. That is also the reason why I think this album is perfect for the colder months.

How does the approach to Void differ from how you work on your more dancefloor-focused productions?

Jon Gaiser: When I'm in the studio, most ideas technically begin the in the same way... with experimentation of different sounds. It is depending on the feeling and atmosphere of the sound that I start with that will guide the rest of the production to bring it to the final outcome. It's all directly connected to my mood that I have at that moment. Whatever mood I'm in will direct to me hear the things that should be there, or not be there, and what should happen next. If I'm feeling slow and relaxed I usually won't end up with a techno track at the end of the day.

Jon Gaiser: The most difficult aspect of performing the Void material live is that the tempos are all over the place. It's not like doing a normal live set with material that has similar tempos and can be integrated and mixed easily. Performing this way is more like telling a story then it is just developing a continuous mix of ups and downs. There will be some moments of atmosphere, some moments of melody, and some moments where it all comes together.

2012 is Futureboogie's 10th year in the land of the club. What originally started as a simple club night in good old Bristol town back in 2001, Futureboogie nows rolls with global radio shows, a booking agency, management company, a list of A-grade parties and worldwide DJ bookings as long as a long armed man, excursions into festival programming and, most recently their record label, Futureboogie Recordings.

Over the last 10 years the cast of the Futureboogie team has changed but original members and FUTUREBOOGIE DJs Joe90 and El Harvo are still holding things down, keeping all the plates spinning, and making things go bump in the night. They host the exclusive 10 year anniversary bash in the capital alongside an array of the very best talent the label has to offer.

Recent Essential Mix spinning wise-beyond-his-years Bristol house producer and DJ Mag nominated breakthrough DJ of the year JULIO BASHMORE fronts an all-star cast, which also features Hot Creations tag-team of the moment Amos Nelson and Rich Beanland aka WAIFS AND STRAYS, alongside fellow Bristol house producing duo CHRISTOPHE & LUKAS and rising stars BEHLING & SIMPSON. We hope you can join us for what promises to be a very special night in the capital.

February also sees the release of Futureboogie Recordings CD compilation. Aptly titled 'Ten' it will include 10 exclusive tracks from some of the label's finest, and a nod to some of the label's future finest, with cuts from the likes of Eats Everything, Lukas, Julio Bashmore, Waifs and Strays, Type Sun, Christophe and Crackazat. And because we are so good to you, the first 50 tickets sold will be bagging themselves a free copy of it on arrival at the party. Niceness!

Playmoon. Gescu & Piticu (Sunrise), Mihai Amatti & Alex Baciu (Soundcrossing) . Friday, February 24th. @ 7-9 Crucifix Lane, London, SE1 3JW, 11pm - 7am

in February we have the pleasure of presenting Special set of: Gescu b2b Piticu (Sunrise) and Mihai Amatti b2b Alex Baciu (SoundCrossing Rec.) who bring us their new releases in Soundcrossing Recrods: "Silence EP "..... can´t miss!

GESCU (Sunrise)

Is one of the relatively new arrivals in the local electronic set, enlisted in the Sunrise Booking Agency at the end of 2007. Since then, most of the notable clubs in Bucharest had him as a guest and he mixed among all the mates in the 'family', from Kozo to El Cezere and Praslea to Dan Andrei.

He scored Valentino Kanzyani , [a:rpia:r], Tania Vulcano and Cassy as a warm-up guest and after Sunwaves 7, where he was spotted at the deck on Sunday, Gescu played it tough and on the 15th of May, he was spinning at Arma 17, in Moscow, in the opening of Marco Carola and Loco Dice.

What he plays at home explains his clubbing pathway, Ricardo Villalobos, Thomas Melchior, Baby Ford, Zip and [a:rpia:r] being listed as favorites. Currently he's working on a release, soon to be announced on the agency's site. With a good start and an ascending range, Gescu promises, no doubt.

PITICU ( Sunrise)

Born and raised in the beautiful Bucharest, he comes to the dj booth with an individual way of phrasing the sounds of minimal, house and techno. In 1999 takes the decision to get involved in the scene and he stays low as a bedroom dj.Truly skilled and with a trained ear, he comes into the light as piticu that we all know today.
His receptivity to knowledge got him to the point where he is dedicating time to compose and to produce his own music. Soon we will be able to obtain the releases and to enjoy them as he would be next to us playing.
Once out of the bedroom, the wings opened and he joined Sunrise team.

MIHAI AMATTI (SoundCrossing Records)

Mihai Ionescu was born in Buzau, on May 29, 1977. Later, Mihai Ionescu becomes Mihai Amatti replacing his family name with another one with historical and musical significance, after Andreea Amati the Italian who invented the violin with four strings. Living in a family passionate about music, Mihai received the music with open arms through his father, rock music being the genre where he found himself in the adolescence, a genre that has remained dear to the present.

He surprises his listeners with old musical genres alternating with new fragments, from ecstasy state of mind to deep one’s, bringing in his mixes the old school spirit and some sophistication.

In a special way Mihai is inspired by the mountains, and the person who influenced the most is his father whom he greatly appreciates.

ALEX BACIU (SoundCrossing Records)

Is a likely young dj for the sounds of minimal-tech-house, newcomer ALEX from Bacau, Romania has quickly made a name for himself with his music. Take a listen to him, and you'll find that his original hometown has obviously had a great effect on his sound. Taking the hypnotic qualities of techno and adding the swing of classic house. Alex fell in love with electronic music in the lately '90s whilst clubbing at Zebra (Bacau) and Session (Bucharest) party’s, and it was his experiences there that convinced him to start his own career as dj. “I fell in love with house music , hearing Junior Vasquez, Danny Tenaglia and Raresh” says Alex. Stepping behind the decks and into the studios was a natural progression for one so dedicated to the cause, and success will swiftly follow. ..

Cosmic house and disco maestro Leo Zero has been added to line-up of February's happening, which sees New York's Phenomenal Handclap Band team-up with Noise of Art, to play the surround club experience, the Psychedelic Curiosity Show, at Village Underground, London, on 24 February.

The London show marking the release of Phenomenal Handclap Band’s new LP (Form & Control), sees New York’s purveyors of psych, soul, and cosmic disco enter Noise of Art’s psychedelic steam punk world.

The night has already been made editor's choice by Flavourpill, recommended by Time Out and is going to be made gig of the month by DJ mag.

http://www.timeout.com/london/clubs/event/251682/noise-of-arts-phenomenal-psychedelic-curiosity-show

Phenomenal Handclap Band broke through with their US and European club hit ‘15 To 20’. Their sound has roots in New York, San Francisco, San Paulo and London. Imagine Curtis Mayfield and Deee-Lite throwing a Nu-Yorican party with Afro-beat, Cosmic Italo-disco, Turkish psych and ‘70s West Coast music spinning on the decks. Kaleidoscopic grooves doesn’t begin to describe their live sound.

On the 45th anniversary of the UK’s Psychedelic movement, Noise of Art’s new show is inspired by contemporary steam punk and the 19th Century imagery that inexplicably became prevalent in the late Sixties. It imagines that Sergeant Pepper, Pink Floyd and The Avengers were the result of two universes colliding in 1967; throwing people from a parallel steam punk world into swinging London.

The resulting psychedelic Victoriana features coal-fired flower power, contemporary dancers, curiosities of nature, magic lanterns of psychedelic imagery, steam-powered cosmic house, psyched-out-disco and coal-fired techno.

supernova returns for the first party of 2012 featuring four very special guests, the Relations family, the Paradox & S.H.E. collectives & residents...

Contexterrior’s leading lady and Dame Music owner, Bloody Mary, takes centre stage in the Relations room. The French born, Berlin based dj/producer is a regular around the globes party hotspots & infamous establishments. Her special blend of electronic house & deep techno music has earned her an exceptional reputation for smashing the floor. Her productions on Jay Haze’s Contexterrior imprint, releases on Sender and her own Dame Music label, have proved she’s just as deadly in the studio as she is on the dancefloor. Prepare yourselves for an electronic blood bath…

Rosario Internullo returns to supernova. His last outing with us was at the Desolat showcase and what a party that was! Releasing on Loco Dice’s imprint as well as his own Yellow Tail platform, expect more exquisite sonics from this man on the 25th… Making her supernova debut is Indira Paganotto. Located in Gran Canaria and resident at the islands techno mecca, Moon, she has shot to stardom thanks to her seriously groovy sets, playing alongside Marco Carola, Paco Osuna, Dinky, Maceo Plex, Jamie Jones, Matthias Tanzmann and a host of stars. We look forward to welcoming her to the club…

Headlining the Terrace are very special guests, Luna City Express. We debuted these guys many moons ago at a notorious Sunday night gathering in London, and they have since become regular headliners here in the Capital. Part of Matthias Tanzmann’s Moonharbour family, this duo knows how to rock a dancefloor thanks to their super groovy sets. We can’t wait to let them loose on the terrace…

The Italian/Ibiza/London trio, the Neverdogs and Cristian Viviano will provide another sophisticated soundtrack alongside Nic & Kaleb (Zoo Project), John Denis and s/n residents Nils Hess, Jb & Anto Retox.

In room three, the Paradox people return for another party upstairs with Monika Ross (Melt), Willy Baff, Gabri & Anto Retox. With a crowd full of energy and high-octane djs, it’s a party in a party...

And finally, S.H.E. return with their lazers set to stun to host room four, with D DaCosta, KD Cruz, Gavin Stockman, Varon V & LJ Laurie.

On Saturday 25th February 2012 a very special Poker Flat showcase is to happen in London for the very first time. It will feature a carefully curated selection of label associates old and new, and the bespoke venue is to be a secret warehouse space where joining label boss Steve Bug, will be Ovum chief Josh Wink and 2011 star M A N I K, as well as Martin Landsky, Daniel Dexter and Burnski, plus more to be confirmed.

Poker Flat is the deep house and tech label run by DJ, producer and A&R maestro Steve Bug since 1999. Amongst its illustrious back catalogue are genre defining hits like ‘Loverboy’ and '1000 Miles', peerless compilations by the likes of Argy and Märtini Brös, full lengths from the boss himself plus the likes of Trentemoller and Donnacha Costello and as well as the usual string of excellent 12” and EP releases from established names and new young blood alike. The label is a pillar of the modern scene and so a showcase such as this in the English capital is long overdue...

Josh Wink, boss of Ovum Records, tops the bill behind Steve Bug and needs little hype given his countless acid, techno and house hits over the past few decades. One of the stars he’s discovered himself in recent times is M A N I K. This NYC virtuoso has a great musicality running through his sultry house and snaking tech releases on Poker Flat, Hot Creations and of course Ovum (for whom he also released a full length this year) whilst one of Bug’s oldest partners in crime, Martin Landsky – known for his peerless production finesse – also gets in on the action.

Another fast rising talent is Chicago house and Detroit techno derived producer, DJ and label boss Daniel Dexter, whilst Berlin based Brit Burnski has a long association with Poker Flat thanks to his deep and tidy productions for the label in recent years.

This secret warehouse venue is perfectly suited to a proper Poker Flat party of this sort - with dynamite sound, killer production and the extra attention to detail you’d expect of a label with as long and esteemed a history as this.

The show also ties in with release of the label's latest double compilation album 'Poker Flat Volume 9 - Gunslingers and Greenhorns', which is due for release on Monday February 20th. Limited early bird tickets are available now from RA and look out on the night for details of the next upcoming Poker Flat showcases in London and beyond....

We had a GREAT response from the crowd and we are very pleased to give you more during the upcoming year wth 5 MASSIVE events starting from this one:

-25th February with H.O.S.H & ELON, Ranacat, Spielkamerad

FB FAN PAGE:
https://www.facebook.com/#!/pages/SelectElect/202477959777026

H.O.S.H. & ELON are two heavy weights of the electronic music world scene, who have gravited far from London in the last year: Select*Elect will bring them back, to take over the big LDN's dancefloor. The date is set, the place not yet to be known, the further step on the path of quality underground dance music done. Select*Elect keeps on providing to the hungry ears of the Londoners the freshest vibes coming from the four corner of the Earth, hosting the best djs in a hidden warehouse where everything's is secret and magic, a place where is enough to be yourself to get in, no VIP crowds, no happy few, just love for good fun and music, given you as a gift with a low entry fee.

Your ticket to ride will allow you to dance with H.O.S.H., the elder brother of the Diynamic dinasty, a musical collective from Hamburg. H.O.S.H. is totally devoted to the 4/4 legacy: “music is the only constant thing in my life” as he says. Infact he's a 24/7 dj, promoter and producer, who honours the art of mixing by pushing it to the highest terms in front of enthusiastic crowds such as those of Watergate Berlin, Studio 80 in Amsterdam or Ego in Amburg.
H.O.S.H.'s skills are so sharpened and twirled with passion that's there's no surprise in listening his words: “When it comes to producing, making music for me is like cooking - the meal - track gets better the more love you put in.” And he's loving it with all himself. Made with love to be danced, that's the attitude that drove him to release his tracks with the best labels ever such as Kindisch, Get Physical, Supernature, Freerange, Strictly Rhythm and Tsuba. And then came the album, Connceting the Dots, released one year ago but still burning on the turntables, with its featuring with Mistress Barbara, Ost & Kjex, mingled with Moog grooves and housy basslines. When he's not on stage H.O.S.H. Promotes and organizes The Gru_nanlage Festivals a series of electronic dance marathons held for free in northern Germany every summer. Just in case you haven't danced enough during the year.

And if you can't get enough, coming from Israel, flying to New York and landing in London there's Elon, a guy fueled by a deep passion for the freshest underground techno sounds. He's a three in a one man show: a dj, producer and nightlife visionary who strongly influenced NYC electronic music scene, since he made his first steps in the Big Apple in 2000.
Resident dj for the Resolute Collective, active member of Clink Recordings and Dumb-Unit posse, he's landed to the turntable after sharpening his skills with musical instruments and sound engineering. Sharp eye for detail, fresh attitude, underground roots and hard work shaken all together produced a series of successful releases branded Elon: from his first EP Colombian, to his 2011 work The Time, he hasn't missed a single target and he's worked for the most important underground labels such as Apparel Music, Infant, Sleaze Records and Metroline.
Elon's work is surrounded by hype, everybody says he's rocking great. Just in this occasion, do believe the hype as this guy is real, a real pro dj and producer as Jeremy P. Caulfield and Maceo Plex aka Maetrik can confirm after having collaborating with him.

Before these two enfant terribles will set on fire Select*Elect dancefloor there will be the Phisical Education hour, a double set for warm yourself up provided by Pablo Rancat and Select*Elect resident Spielkamerad. The first landed in Hackney from Argentina with a luggage full of deep underground disco house vibes, after years spent as vocalist in an experimental band pumped with drum machines and heavy riffs. Once in London he fastly established himself as one of the most interesting djs playing at underground parties such as Exstatic Sounds and in clubs like Ministry of Sound, The End and Acquarium. The second, Spielkamerad came to London to study Music Business Management and couldn't succeed in staying away from the nightlife, he was already enjoying in his town Berlin. So he stepped into djing and last summer he was one of the five finalists at the Mixmag + The Nest's DJ Competition, with his tech-house flavoured with nu-disco.

Onemore. Tiefschwarz. Saturday, February 25th. @ Hearn Street Car Park, 7-11 Hearn St, Shoreditch, London, EC2A 3LS, 10pm - 6am

London's warehouse event... And not just any warehouse event ;)

OneMore has been growing exponentially since it's launch over a year ago. We made sure to always find the best underground spots in the East End of London and can look back to memorable performances from superstar guests such as Timo Maas, Steve Lawler and Troy Pierce with a big smile!

Our residents also proved to be nothing short of spectacular and got people jumping sometimes even more than our superstar guests!!

So for sure this one is set to be another memorable musical journey and it will take place once again at Hearn st Car Park which is slowing growing to be our home... But in 2012 we will have plenty of surprises for you so expect to be amazed as every time so far!

TIEFSCHWARZ needs no introduction at all but it's only fair to spare a few words to empathize their achievements... This German duo made up of the Schwarz brothers first appeared on the international scene back in 1997. The combination of their love for deep, dark house music and their own name gave naturally birth to TIEFSCHWARZ (german for "deep black").

Since then things went downhill with a series of releases on Derrick carter & Luke Solomon's Classic Recordings and many of their tracks have been licensed to compilations, from the Stereo Sushi series, to compilations for Bugged Out!, Get Physical and Renaissance, and in 2006, they released a mix of their own for the Fabric (London) mix series.

Their sound is considered, at least by those who have followed them from their Classic days, to have changed somewhat over the last few years. Instead of their original deep, mellow house, Tiefschwarz now represent a gritty and edgy electro house sound, their more recent tracks gaining recognition from the likes of Ivan Smagghe, Touché, Sasha and Danny Howells.

Joining them will be our all time favourite resident DJs Antonio de Angelis, Raymundo Rodriguez and Outart so expect OneMore musical journey! And of course we'll be kitting up the venue with plenty of surprises and our trademark VJ show by Sofine....

As usual, advance tickets will be available on RA... Advance tickets are by far the best way to access our party smoothly and Q-lessly however for guest list email names and surnames to OneMoreLondon@gmail.com

Etiquette Presents:

|| LOEFAH || (Swamp81)

A true pioneer, Loefah has been at the forefront of the UK underground for almost 10 years now, founding the infamous DMZ with Mala & Coki, and creating one of the most inspiring and on-point labels to emerge in recent times, Swamp81. Having released the most brutal half-step known to man, he has been busy touring the world as an acclaimed selector, whilst putting out records by artists such as Joy O, Boddika, Zed Bias & Addison Groove. This man knows whats up, and we can't wait to see what he has in-store for us.

http://boilerroom.tv/loefahs-50-min-mix/

|| ELGATO || (Hessle Audio)

Having burst onto the scene with a stunning debut 12" in the shape of 'Tonight / Blue', Elgato has gone onto cement his place as one of the finest DJ's in the UK right now, having been part of the Bruk collective, throwing parties and hosting radio shows across the UK, as well as recording one of the most impeccable LWE podcasts we've ever heard. Earlier this year, he released the incredible 'Music (Body Mix)' as part of the 116 & Rising compilation from Hessle Audio, proving his unique sound is hear to stay.

|| JON RUST & REECHA || (Standard Place / Lightworks)

Staples of the UK scene for a long time now, Rust & Reecha know exactly how to throw a party, having spent the last few years doing just that. Alongside Oneman and Asbo they now run the collective Standard Place, who recently celebrated their first birthday in style, with Joy O, Jackmaster, Benji B and Artwork all coming down to play. Not only have they featured on the Boiler Room a staggering three times, they have also added a label to their long list of achievements, by the name of Lightworks. The debut release from Ossie was one of the most talked about singles of the year, and further cemented just how good an ear these guys have. Along with partner in crime Asbo, they'll be dropping, as BR put it, 'record upon record of dopeness'. Can't argue with that.

|| WEST NORWOOD CASSETTE LIBRARY || (TEAL / WNCL Recordings)

Over the last two years this South London resident has been putting out records via his own WNCL Recordings label as consistently as anyone in the game, moving from intricately constructed Dubstep to the kind of warm, analogue house that makes you want to travel back to '91 and drink special punch till your blue in the face. Having been remixed by the likes of Pearson Sound, Brackles and Karenn, he most recently completed a superb Fact mix, proving just how vital he is to this burgeoning scene. He also has a healthy obsession with Mood II Swing, so what are you waiting for.

Square 1. Bruno Pronsato. Saturday, February 25th. @ at a secret location, 11pm - 7am

Bruno Pronsato,
Dan Lively,
Ken & Davy,
Damian Christian
plus special guests

*guestlist only - please send names to yosakuda@yosakuda.com ;)

With his heady, intricately woven tracks and ominously funky live performances, Bruno Pronsato is one of techno’s most intriguing artists. His sound is full of contradictions: abstract but organic, sexy but drab, and though most of his records could easily stir a dance floor, they exist purely for themselves, never compromised for club potential. In music, as in life, Bruno likes to get weird, and the suspense that permeates his music often earns him the title of “minimal.” But it’s the deeply emotional moments—the warm, amber tones of tracks like “What We Wish,” “At Home I’m a Tourist” and “The Make Up The Break Up”— that point to Bruno’s true objective: as he blurted out to an Italian journalist last year, “I just want to make romantic techno.”

In 2006, Bruno moved from Seattle to Berlin to do techno full time, and it wasn’t long before he made a name for himself. His debut 12" was released in 2003 on Orac, a Kompakt distributed label, and was followed the next year by a full-length album, Silver Cities. Soon Bruno had the attention of labels like Philpot and Musique Risquée, both of whom released Bruno’s next EP’s. By 2005, Bruno’s live performance—an unusually nimble and improvisatory act—began receiving praise from XLR8R, The Wire, and dozens of underground European zines. It also piqued the interest of Ricardo Villalobos and Perlon boss Zip, who invited Bruno to play in their laptop super-group, Narod Nikki. Around this time, Bruno formed a duo with Sammy Dee called Half Hawaii. The pair played at nightclubs around Europe and international festivals like Mutek, and released two slick minimal records on Perlon and Hello? Repeat. But Bruno’s real breakthrough came in 2007 when he released Why Can’t We Be Like Us, a strange and beautiful album that received a “5/5” from Resident Advisor and endless accolades throughout the blogosphere. This secured Bruno’s position as one of techno’s most imaginative and virtuosic artists, a reputation he easily maintained with his next two releases: the weird and sultry Where’d You Learn to Kiss That Way on Hello? Repeat, and Take 1/ Take 2, a jazz-infected house jam he did with Daze Maxim, under the name Others.

In 2009, Bruno started his own label, thesongsays. It was partly a matter of necessity; he needed an imprint for his most ambitious work yet, a 38-minute epic called The Make Up The Break Up, so he decided to simply release it himself. Possibly his best work to date, The Make Up The Break Up received a deluge of praise upon its release, including another “5/5” from Resident Advisor. Later that year, thesongsays released its second record, a debut EP called What I’ve Lost by Benoit & Sergio. Dripping with half-ironic romantic sentiment, What I’ve Lost is a daringly unfashionable EP that, perhaps even more than his own tracks, reveals Bruno for who he truly is: a post-punk inspired techno artist that loves staying up all night, sipping whiskey with his pinky crooked.

Numbers have put out an incredible run of singles from the likes of Jamie xx, HudMo and Mosca. His Fabric mix was in many end of year charts and his recent Resident Advisor podcast is still on repeat. “A lot of people ask about myself and Ben UFO “just” being DJs. It’s just kind of the way it has worked out. I think it’s a right place / right time kind of thing where there is this interest in the actual artform of DJing right now. I hope that we see some more good young DJs coming through. That would be really exciting.” Jackmaster (Resident Advisor).

Ben UFO founded Hessle Audio with Ramadanman and Pangaea in 2007. He is also one of the few DJs in the UK to make a name for himself solely as a DJ, without having entered the world of production. Ben’s Rinse FM compilation reached No. 2 in Resident Advisor’s best of 2011 poll. Steve Bishop – a.k.a Oneman – Joins Ben and Jack on the bill, he emerged from Forward and DMZ to now encompass a myriad of different styles underpinned with the sharpest deck skills.

Dollop’s ‘D’Lex warms up for the triumvirate and the gallery is hosted by East London’s ReviveHER featuring Bicep (Throne of Blood), Bi Bop, Nicholas Feel and Kitt.

Bugged Out returns to XOYO on February 25th with three Gents who have become reknowned for their programming skills behind the decks without having a production to their names. Jack Revill a.k.a Jackmaster is the co-founder of the Numbers imprint and a key player in Glasgow’s underground scene. Since 2010 Jackmaster

Full inout to follow...

Superfreq. 10th Anniversary with Magda. Saturday, March 3rd. @ Paramount, Centre Point, 103 New Oxford Street, W1, 11pm - 7am

Dearest Freqs & Friends,

We hope you’re all feeling the magic of 2012, it’s already proving to be an extremely special year & we couldn’t have kicked it off any better than having Superfreq at La Santanera in Playa Del Carmen for the BPM festival on January 1st.

So, at the end of February, it’s going to be Superfreq’s 10th anniversary & to celebrate being 10 years old, Superfreq will be hosting “Superfreq is 10” events all around the world throughout 2012 & spreading the magic.

On Saturday the 3rd of March we will celebrate being 10 years old at our flagship event in London, at our spiritual home, Paramount, Centre Point, 103 New Oxford Street, London, WC1A 1DD from 11pm until after 7am & of course, being our anniversary, it’s going to be an extremely special evening indeed.

We're extremely proud to announce that our very special guest DJ for the evening will be the amazing Magda.
Magda as you all must know, was a huge part of Richie Hawtin’s M_nus set up until very recently, when along with Troy Pierce & Marc Houle, left to set up their own imprint, Items & Things. There’s only been a handful of releases & already Items & Things is leading the way with forward thinking, electronic dance music with every single release being absolutely top notch.
Magda has been of fire since the guys have branched off from M_nus really blossoming & showing her true self, in fact, Mr.C categorically states that Magda’s set at Nexus at Burning Man in Septemeber, was by far his favourite set of the festival. Said Mr.C, “Magda’s set at Nexus was off the chain. It was techno but not that fast, with lots of crazy spaced out sounds, bleeps & tones, yet the beats were funky as hell & all the tunes had proper bass lines that we so infectious, that it was impossible not to dance like a lunatic”.
Magda is extremely excited about joining us for our 10th anniversary, so for sure this will be a set not to be missed.

Next we welcome back Superfreq’s 1st ladies of the night, the delectable, Dollz At Play. Xo Chic will be jetting across the pond from Los Angeles to celebrate not only Superfreq’s 10th Anniversary, but also her birthday, which falls only a few weeks before, so this is the perfect time for her to celebrate with our London Superfreq family. Xo Chic has been busy spinning in Mexico & California, doing all sorts of events from Superfreq to high fashion events & everything in between.
Of course Xo Chic will be joined by Bea Tricks who’s also been busy & has just moved back to England, which was why we were lucky enough to have her Play at Superfreq’s official after party at Jaded, after the Fabric show on the morning of January 15th. Bea Tricks is on best form right now, having had a recent release with My Favourite Robot & has also done an amazing track with the extremely talented Black Light Smoke aka Jordan Lieb, who was simply amazing when he performed live for us at Fabric, a set which included Bea’s track.

Of course all of these wonderfully gorgeous ladies join Mr.C & Luke vB for what promises to be a fun filled night of complete foolishness.

Tickets are available now right here on Resident Advisor.
As this is our 10th anniversary, so to avoid disappointment, we do stress that you be quick in purchasing your tickets, as concessions lists will be pretty much non-existent & people will be keen to snap tickets up to ensure entry.

We look forward to celebrating both Superfreq being 10 & Xo Chic’s birthday with you all on the 3rd of March. Until then, be well & keep spreading the magic.

Love from the Superfreq family.

Melt Music 4. Ripperton (Perspectiv -Planet E- CLR - Systematic) & Franck Roger (Real Tone - Desolat). Saturday, March 3rd. @ at a secret location, 10pm - 6am

Ripperton (Perspectiv -Planet E- CLR - Systematic)
Franck Roger (Real Tone - Desolat)
Arnaud Le Texier ( Safari Electronique-Cocoon-Melt Music)
DZeta N' Basile ( Real Tone -1 Trax- Viva)
Maura ( Leftroom Records-Melt Music )
Monika Ross ( Serialism-Uberbeat-Melt Music)

Ripperton (PLANET E - CLR- SYSTEMATIC)

Ripperton was born in the 70's, one of the most exciting times in music, which would explain his passion for soul music, his 12 inch vinyl collection which knows no bounds and his nickname, (think of one of the best female soul singers of that time).

Growing up as a teenager to the rhythms of Tony Humphries, Djaimin and Kid Bachelor, working in the well-known Lausanne record shop, Tracks, and generally drowning in all that was vinyl, Raphael started DJing in the early 90s.

Soon after, thanks to MPC3000 and good analogue synths, he began producing. His first releases came under the names of Soul Merge and Reasons, the latter won the Diesel U Music awards in 2003 and then led to the setting up of his first label, Lovearth Records.

He gained outstanding popularity with his project Lazy Fat People that was signed to labels like Border Community, Wagon Repair and Carl Craig's Planet E, as well as new successes as a solo artist known as Ripperton.

Aka Ripperton, he's enjoyed working in the studio with fellow Swiss producers, such as Sthlm Audio and Plak Records.
He's also released tracks on Dessous, Systematic, Rekids, Liebe Detail, Connaisseur and many more top labels, and delivered remixes for Laurent Garnier, Beanfield, Steve Lawler and the exceptional Radiohead.
Very popular with artists such as Steve Bug, James Holden, Joris Voorn in their compilations over the last few years.

In 2006 he started the well-known underground label, Perspectiv Records, which brought out some fresh talent from Switzerland and around the world and nurtured some interesting interactions with amazing producer like Tobias, DJ Koze and Isolée, all highly respected by Raphael.

His long-awaited LP is due out in early 2010. Called "Niwa", this modern piece of music mixes different kinds of sounds from varied horizons and will be released on the Dutch 'Green' label owned by friends Joris Voorn & Edwin Oosterwal.

Touring around the world the last decade, Ripperton spins the melodic and lush end of House, Minimal & Techno.
Definitively one of the most creative Swiss DJs of today, Ripperton is a perfect electronic music chameleon.

Franck Roger (REAL TONE)

Parisian deep house maestro: Franck Roger.

Franck realized exactly what it was he wanted to do with his life after visiting the world famous Rex Club in Paris as an underage teenager to hear such luminaries as Laurent Garnier and DJ Deep who played there regularly in the mid 90’s. From there on, he knew that he wanted to dedicate himself to this sound called house.

So Franck set about producing his own records and in a little under ten prolific years, he has managed to create his own distinctive musical signature, without ever straying into the dangerous territory of becoming formulaic or “samey.” Franck’s output varies from more stripped down, techy and minimal grooves to steamier, deeper or more sophisticated moods and yet they all remain so unmistakably a Franck Roger production.

His sound has won him many fans amongst the DJs and producers that inspired him in the first place and this has seen him release on some of their labels - like MAW’s Kenlou label, DJ Deep’s Deeply Rooted House and more recently Carl Craig’s Planet E imprint and of course he also has numerous EPs on his own Real Tone Records and Franck Roger Production.

When it comes to spinning wax, Franck is as adept as he is at making it and his sets are similarly varied. He regularly spins in far flung corners of the world like Japan and South Africa as well as all over Europe – from the Panorama Bar in Berlin to his own “The 5 Beats” night at the Rex, the very club that inspired him.

ARNAUD LE TEXIER ( Safari Electronique / Cocoon/ Melt Music )

French born artist Arnaud Le Texier started Safari Electronique in London, 2005. An artist with plenty of knowledge and substance behind him, Arnaud had been on the electronic music scene for over 10 years before commencing with Safari Electronique. Arnaud’s career dates back to 1990 when he first began managing record shops and building what is now a huge archive of knowledge, taste and musical dedication to his name. His five year residency at Paris’s Queen and memorable sets around Europe over the years that followed perfected Arnaud’s dj’ing skills, earning him his spot in the worldwide scene where he continues to this day to be a prominent dj and production figure.

In 2000 at a Miami gig, Arnaud met British dj James Warren, the pair shared a vision and love of expressing deep and constructed minimal and tech sounds. The two artists decided to launch the UK based labels; Atcha Recordings, which experimented with Deep House and Trip- Hop, and Kailash Records which explored Tech-House, Break beat, Techno and Electro sounds.

5 years later, Safari Electronique was born. Arnaud decided to launch this new label because he wanted something different and where he could sign all styles of electronic music. A label a bit more experimental and personal, which concentrates on techno and minimal sounds, sensuality and dance-floor grooves has since gone on to collaborate and put out more than 40 releases from some of tech/house music’s best known and highly respected artists. Toni D (Antonio De Angelis), Cesare vs Disorder, D'Julz, Italoboyz, Cesar Merveille, Johnny D, Luciano Esse, Miss Fitz, Luca Bacchetti, Ekkohaus and Luc Ringheisen are just a handful of the artists who have produced alongside Arnaud for Safari Electronique over the last 5 years.

At the beginning of 2006 Arnaud decided to live in London where he plays in different clubs or parties such as T Bar, Minimal Hospital, Secret Sundaze, Bread & Butter, Half Baked, Multi Vitamins etc … and he is a regular Dj at Fabric since 5 years. Last September he made quite of an impression when he rammed the room 2 of Fabric for Safari Electronique 5 years anniversary, along side Antonio De Angelis, D'julz, David Labeij.

In 2009 Safari Numerique was born. It's the little sister of Safari Electronique. On this digital version Arnaud wants to push more upcoming talents with a sound more deep house and deep techno.
Arnaud is a perfect blend of natural talent and raw flare with very distinctive music. He produced different EP's & remixes for Bass Culture, 2020 Vision, SCI + TEC, Multivitamins, Climatic Sounds, Children of Tomorrow etc... Through his focus on music quality and originality, as well as his performances on an international level, Arnaud Le Texier is becoming one of the leaders in electronic sound.
