Superfiction Recordings Label Night. Italoboyz & Blind Minded . Was On Friday, October 12th. @ Basing House, 25 Kingsland Road, Shoreditch, E28AA, 10pm - 4am

Italoboyz (Superfiction / Moon Harbour / Get Physical)
Blind Minded (Superfiction / Moon Harbour / Trapez)

After the huge success of the first party in July, Superfcition Recordings comes back to the Basing house.

Superfiction is the new record label and music collective established by Italoboyz’ Marco Donato and Federico Marton.

Reflecting an Italoboyz’ vision of where modern electronic music is, or could be, releases on the label will be influenced by every possible music via their own view and perspective of Techno, House, Breaks, Electronica, Chill Out and Funk…

Superfiction, far from being purely a means to releasing music without compromise or external limitations, is also a concept in its own right. As a platform, Superfiction is set to become a musical community for fellow DJs, musician friends and producers; facilitating collaborations and incubating new projects in an atmosphere of pure creativity, without the rigidity of pre-determined concepts and corporate agendas. Superfiction will also be expanding into club nights, where Fede and Marco will invite their label artists to perform, alongside friends and people who appreciate the meaning of a good party.

Superfiction is a concept that subconsciously started over 20 years ago and, as it’s aged, aims to stay eternal and timeless.

1605 World Tour London Residency Launch. Umek & Stefano Noferini. Was On Friday, October 12th. @ Egg, 200 York Way, Kings X, London, N7, 11pm - 8am

After conquering all there is to conquer, UMEK takes his 1605 imprint to the next level with official 1605 Events around the world. Selecting Techno and Tech House's finest, the Slovenian giant is ready to unleash the artists who shaped the modern sound of the scene, to the rest of the world.

For a long time, Slovenia has been known for its great electronic parties, but as the local scene is of boutique dimensions, everyone who wishes to take the art of mixing and producing to a professional level, has to go out there and enter the worldwide scene. UMEK has done this step as early as in the middle of the 90s and so he became one of the most important techno players of the global techno scene, even before the end of the last millennium.

UMEK
In the beginning of the year 2007, UMEK started a new 1605 Music Therapy - Sixteenofive, with which he marked the beginning of the second era of his music creation and what an era it is! After 5 years the label is tagged as a great success and is one of the world’s fastest growing techno labels, which spawns releases and new talents almost every week. Hailing from Italy, Stefano Noferini is one of the nations most respected DJs and producers. Having been a pivotal force in Italy’s burgeoning house music scene with his national radio show, Stefano forged a musical symbiosis with his homeland that still exists today. Since bursting on to the radar three years ago where Pete Tong kick started Ant’s support with his debut release, ‘Shuffle’, Ant Brooks made an immediate impact on the global house stage, and has quickly become one of house music’s most desired suppliers of smooth, sexy and quality house music.

"Each time we turn into a new butterfly, but only for one night.".

Almost five months after the last chapter it's not easy to sit down and choose the right words amongst the many feelings coming through: excitement, impatience, pressure sometimes.

But mainly excitement, and a touch of impatience, for DAMAGED coming back on October 7th after a long and in many ways intense summer.

For this special date we are flying to London Matei Tulbure, half of TC Studio and one of the most forward thinking dancefloor controller we experienced recently.

With him is Lamache, in name of the French scene recently growing at full speed, plus Georgio and Matteo, for a classic last drive into Monday morning.

Did we say we missed you a lot?

xx
