The Ed Banger 10th Birthday Party. Justice – DJ set, Breakbot – live, Busy P, Feadz, Riton ++. Was On Friday, May 3rd. @ HMV Forum, 9-17 Highgate Road, London, NW5 1JY, 10pm - 6am

Seminal Parisian label Ed Banger records celebrates 10 years in business at London’s Forum with an all night party on the May bank holiday weekend.

Since the first release, by Mr Flash , in March 2003 label boss Pedro ‘Busy P’ Winter and his gang have defined a sound and scene, then gone beyond that to become a broad platform for exciting new artists like Boston Bun to legends like Laurent Garnier. Their best known artists are Justice who headline stages at UK festivals and introduced American kids to electronic dance music before it became an acronym. But as well as the distorted disco of Xavier and Gaspard Busy P has also released oddities like Mickey Moonlight’s And The Time Axis Manipulation Corporation and Breakbot’s yacht rock pop.
A compilation of exclusive material by all the artists – Ed Rec Vol X – will be released to mark the occasion.

After selling out the 7000 capacity Grande Halle De La Villette in Paris the Ed Banger crew visit 10 cities around the world including
London on Friday May 3rd.
Come, join them and celebrate a decade of mutant dance music.

The night will feature a DJ set from Justice, the first time the have played together as DJs in London since 2010, Breakbot will perform live, Busy P will perform a special ‘best of Ed Banger’ set and label stalwarts Feadz, Riton and Mickey Moonlight also join the fray

egg LDN. Reboot, Dani Casarano, Fur Coat, Luca Agnelli - 10th Birthday Celebration pt.1. Was On Friday, May 3rd. @ Egg, 200 York Way, Kings X, London, N7, 11pm - 8am

EGG ANNOUNCE 10 x 10 Series

Egg 10th Birthday Celebration pt. 1 in conjunction with DC7.

May 3rd is the date the very special 10 x 10 Birthday celebrations kick off at the famous EGG London and headlining will be the finest DJs and producers from the influential Cadenza imprint.

First up from the label will be Reboot – the German tech specialist whose loopy sounds have seen him become one of the most in demand DJs of the day. Fusing fluttery Latin vibes with tribal beats, he plays all over Europe, the US and Ibiza to adoring fans every time.

Reboot will be joined by label mate Dani Casarano who has traversed this planet in search of perfect beats since the late 90s. Releasing on labels like Waldliebe and Cadenza he produces earthy house music with Latin flavours and counts everyone from Ben Watt to Nick Curly as a fan.

Next, Fur Coat are a Venezuelan duo plucked by Damian Lazarus for his influential Crosstown Rebels imprint. They have released one heart warming full length of tortured vocals and warm beats and have turned in plenty of great remixes between gigs around the world at the leading clubs and festivals.

Eclectic, creative, curious and involving, Luca has a unique style which transmits passion and adrenaline, dreams and emotions. His sets are marked by the art of sound manipulation and style pollution, challenging standards and prejudices, playing wisely with technology and everything that enables him to change and produce music reworks.

Trouble Vision and Tief join forces to bring you a night of top draw music with carefully picked artists representative of both brands musical policies.

Room 1 sees Trouble Vision take the reigns with the return of MCDE. Having previously played at Trouble Vision twice before, we couldn't be more excited to have him back for another of his genre defining sets.

In support we welcome back another TV favourite, Session Victim. This time they'll be bringing their synths, drum machines and bass guitar instead of their records to perform live on stage. One of the best live shows around, its 'live' in every sense of the word and we cant wait! Last but not least, Trouble Vision residents Mr Solid Gold and Park Ranger will be getting things bubbly on warm up duties.

In room 2 Tief will keep things deep and melodic, welcoming back our good pal Axel Boman to headline. Axel is well known for his energetic and infectious presence behind the decks and was without a doubt one of our favourite guests of last year.

Next up Christopher Rau will be coming to Corsica for the first time. One of the most consistent and interesting producers around, he's released on Pampa, Dial and most recently Smallville, Rau's set will not be one to be missed.

Tief curator and resident Hesseltime will join Axel and Rau in Room 2 to warm things up.

Plex - Basement Sessions #2. 3 Secret Guests. Was On Friday, May 3rd. @ The Waiting Room, 175 Stoke Newington High Street, London, N16 0LH, 8pm - 4am

For our 2nd Basement Session of 2013 we roll up once again at The Waiting Room and on a fine Bank Holiday Weekend too!

The first act we have playing will be performing an exclusive live A/v show for us and it's a London debut no less! We are truly excited about this performance and they have been on our list of people to get at Plex for many a year now..
Thankfully we're lucky enough that we're finally able to get them on as London is well overdue seeing them play live in our opinion. This set is not to be missed at any cost.

Next up is another live set, one of our favourite producers at the moment and with a carefully constructed live show to back up the plentiful wax output. The in-house Martin rig will get a full work-out on the night for sure when they hit the stage. Visceral, searing and intense stuff. You've been warned!

Our third guest for the evening is a special local talent who's been around for quite some time. House, techno, acid, new beat all carefully crafted together for your listening pleasure and a pretty handy producer to boot as well. Amazingly he's never played for us either so another debut on the night.

Backing these 3 fine Secret Guests will be Plex residents Skunkrock, Luke Handsfree and James Tec.

As per the last party (and a continuing angle with all the Basement Sessions parties we're doing this year) No artist names will be released.

There will be a very limited amount of tickets available so don't sleep on those if you plan on coming!

**Unannounced Secret Guests. Exclusive Extended Sets. Martin Rig. Smoke. Lasers. Plex Basement Sessions**

Needwant are back again at Basing House with another night of their underground talent showcases.

This time Ejeca is back on the bill again after being unable to play at the last party due to snow. Ejeca's profile has be nothing short of meteoric these last few months and it's sure to be a great party full of his latest jackin' tracks in an intimate setting.

Fresh from their imminent release alongside Urulu for the label, Chaos in the CBD will also be on show to bring us their trademark house sounds.

Warming up the evening will be head of Needwant label Sean Brosnan, another line up not to be missed!

Killthedj and Marketing Night. Sex Judas (Live) & It's Fine Line. Was On Friday, May 3rd. @ Dance Tunnel, 95 Kingsland Road; Dalston; London E8 2PB, 10pm - 4am

Please find details of the Kill The DJ and Marketing night at Dalston's new party hub Dance Tunnel... headlining the show is Sex Judas (Sex to his mother) he’s a mysterious artist whose face has yet remained unknown, and this will be his first live show in Europe with dj support from It’s A Fine Line (Ivan Smagghe & Tim Paris) & latete atoto.

Sex Judas a vigilante and underground musical entrepreneur working in tandem with his trusted sidekick Ricky since the dawn of time (or the death of Jesus). Myth has it that after the infamous “kiss”, Judas was damned to live on earth for eternity. He decided to make the best of it and delved head first into his true passion: music. Known as a motherfucker on the “Uggav” since his early teens, he emerged in the underground sounds of Judea and never looked back. Judas & Ricky state they are on a mission to play music that reflects the real life, in all its horny, absurd, joyous and yes sometimes evil ways…with emphasis on the bass of course! Sex Judas has been getting busy of late with two great releases on Tim Paris' Marketing Music label My Girls avaliable here http://www.beatport.com/release/my-girls/1020149

IAFL aka Ivan and Tim are delighted to be at the helm for the rest of the night. In the midst of recording their album, they will come out of their bunker for the evening. Describing what will be played is useless, their sound is no sound. Defying categories being an imperative. As they say, 'expect the unexpected.' You will be dancing for sure; dancing on the edge. (If not, it means you are taking up too much space.) This is the very early or very late downbeat side of IAFL- White Light signalling the start, or the end of the tunnel..
