Discreet Soundsystem. Alexandar Kyosev. Was On Saturday, November 17th. @ Bar A Bar, 133-135 Stoke Newington Road, N16 8BT, 10pm - late

Fresh from an inspiring summer break, we are back!
To ensure Discreet comes back with a BANG we have been very busy hunting down a new home for our growing family and the perfect booking to represent our sound…

Firstly we would like to welcome Alexandar Kyosev from sofia, Bulgaria for his London debut.

Alex is a young and very talented dj/producer. His productions are spreading like wild fire with huge releases on labels such as Karton, Early Dub records & Tzinah. Alex has recently been collaborating with Fernando Costantini who is another name to watch. His tracks have been supported world wide by dj's such as tINI, Marco Corola, Enzo Siragusa and Hector to name a few!

Secondly to announce our new home a small basement space situated in Dalston. With its low ceilings, industrial feel and limited capacity along with a little sprinkle of Discreet fairy dust it has all the ingredients to be a truly special and intimate affair.

Finally we welcome a new member to the family Reiss Trowbridge, a dj with incredible talent and music taste, he came and played with us down at the prison last year and also joined us in Bulgaria for Meadows in the mountain festival. Reiss will be setting the tone for the night so make sure you are there early.

We have limited capacity and it is pay on door only so please arrive in good time to guarantee entry. There is also a cloakroom available inside so make sure you all rap up warm!

Line up.

Synopsis Part 3. boris werner. Was On Friday, November 16th. @ Basing House, 25 Kingsland Road, Shoreditch, E28AA, 9pm - 4am

Based on the idea of conveying a story through music during a short period of time, Synopsis is the realisation of Half Baked profile Greg Brockmann and Sami Daik and is the product of many years of partying and playing alongside each other.

Taking place every two months in the intimate settings of East London’s Basing House, widely renowned for its soundsystem and dimly lit roof garden, Synopsis aim to showcase well-established international artists as well as close friends, who are all versed in the art of presenting a narrative through music.

Part 3 welcomes Amsterdam's Boris Werner as main act alongside residents Greg Brockmann & Sami Daik.

Known as an enfant terrible, a radiant light in every after hour and for his merciless productions; Boris Werner is a thrill seeker of his generation.
The Amsterdam based bad boy that speaks his mind and let’s this reflect in his music making. With the hammer track ‘Set it off’ on Soweso that’ll be out soon, another production coming out on Get Physical in the summer of 2012, gigs all around the world and his residency and own party Late Night Society in the already legendary club Trouw in Amsterdam Boris is well on his way into his second professional decade of electronic music.
Where Boris turned his love for music into a hefty lifestyle in his first decade, he now kicks his career up a notch. Spending night after night in his studio during the week. Behind the decks of different clubs all around on the weekends or being in charge of the music at an after hour he is never not working.
The summer of 2012 Boris is coming back to Ibiza for his third year at one of the island’s most renowned parties: Circoloco at DC10. Plus his own night ‘Late Night Society’ at Trouw is having it’s second birthday in August. After two years of the bi-‐ monthly party where he and his colleague and friend William Kouam Djoko invited artists such as Seth Troxler, dOP, Wareika, Tom Trago, Jamie Jones, Visionquest and San Proper the ‘dress up chic, act like trash’ motto of the party is now infamous in-‐ and outside of the club.
Production wise Boris is ready for yet another round of heavyweight releases. The Dutch label Soweso, run by Boris’ friends Kabale und Liebe and Lauhaus, has it’s hands on the powerful ‘Set It Off’ track, which has already set some dance floors on fire the past months and will be released in the summer of 2012. Another EP ‘Slow Dancin’ is coming out on the acclaimed German label Get Physical. And there is more music on the way.
From his first decade up into the second and to many more to follow Boris Werner and his music will always pull you into the direction of any dance floor around.

Thunder. Lerosa, Joseph Apted, Miles Simpson, Rick Hopkins. Was On Friday, November 16th. @ The Waiting Room, 175 Stoke Newington High Street, London, N16 0LH, 10pm - 4am

For the final Thunder of the year we are very excited to be welcoming Italian DJ & Producer - Lerosa.

Lerosa registered on Thunder’s collective radar via his sublime productions for labels like Uzuri, Osgut Ton and Millions of Moments - productions that range from Drexciyan-inspired electro through emotive techno to rawest of house music.

As well as making some of the best underground music out there right now, Lerosa is also a pretty special DJ. Not one to be pigeon-holed as someone who plays one genre all night, like his productions, his sets cover a range of bases, as he drops a heady and eclectic mix of house, italo and techno – music that suits Thunder down to the ground.

After recent gigs at Berlin’s Tresor and playing the main room at Fabric, alongside Levon Vincent, this is a rare opportunity to see Lerosa play to just over a hundred people packed into our sweaty Kingsland Road rave womb.

Come, join us for one last sound of Thunder in 2012 x
