DJ Yoda. The Audiovisual Spectacular. Was On Saturday, November 10th. @ HMV Forum, 9-17 Highgate Road, London, NW5 1JY, 8pm - midnight

DJ Yoda has a knack for turning rooms full of perfectly calm and civilised people into a heaving mass of happy, sweaty, partied-out folk. Combining a well-honed beat-heavy DJ set with tongue in cheek visuals mixed live with the music on a cinema-sized screen, DJ Yoda assaults your senses with a killer combination of good humour and infectious party music. Unbeatable in this terrain, DJ Yoda truly is one of the “ten DJs to see before you die” (Q Magazine).

Expect surprise guests – last time round he had a breakdancing magician, a hip hop comedy improv duo and a full-on Balkan brass band making appearances – and the quality of supports you’ve come to expect from a Soundcrash show.

This will be an extraordinary night brought to you by an extraordinary DJ. Don’t miss out.

JJ GULLO

JJ Gullo is a House, Deep House, Tech House and Techno DJ and music producer from Italy.
JJ Gullo started his career as a DJ on the streets of Sicily in 1990.
He differed from his competitors by playing house music tracks, instead of happy commercial music which was fashion in Italy.
Gullo has produced many singles and remixes to date on his records label, Maskik Records, starting from his explosive club mix (Party Machine) released in October 2009 and today is also the Owner of Leading Astray Records..a new Techno sub Label created from a cooperation with Elek-Fun.
Born in Palermo, Italy (on January 1- 1976), Jo indulged in his passion for music from a young age, blowing all the money from his small paper round on vinyls.
With all resistance against him, he played in many venues in Sicily.
Starting from the smallest clubs, to venues with capacities of 5000 people.
As he wasn't content always playing other producers music, he decided it was time for the next step, Live Performance.
And by working consistently hard with music composition and designing his own sound he managed to play in big events like Street Parade Bologna(Italy) and Street Parade Zurich.
JJ is not happy with ever standing still, he has a strong belief of 'Keep Moving', 'Never Give Up' and 'Push Forward'.
Living by these words he keeps pushing himself to try more things, pushing the boundaries that he considers very difficult to achieve.
There is no point to do anything..... If you're standing still.

Make Me. Roman Flugel and Bnjmn. Was On Friday, November 9th. @ at a secret location, 10pm - 6am

“If credibility means producing the same track over and over again, I’d rather stay unpredictable.” Roman Flügel

In a scene fraught with conservatism, Roman Flügel is a rare non-conformist. From his early days as a founding artist on Klang Elektronik and Playhouse through to his work as Alter Ego and recent slew of albums, singles and remixes under his own name on Dial and Live at Robert Johnson, Roman has been delivering the goods for as long as we care to remember.

Incredibly diverse in his approach and the sheer variety of his releases, he is one of the true creators and innovators in the current electronic music scene. Luckily for us he’s also an incredibly sophisticated selector of records and one of those names that we’ve been chasing for ages to come and headline one of our parties.

When we asked Roman who he’d like to play with on the night he had only one name for us – BNJMN. One of the UK’s most promising house producers, he already has two albums to his name on Rush Hour and is steadily building a reputation as an awesome club DJ.

Capacity is limited to 350, so we massively recommend buying a ticket in advance. The venue will be announced to ticket holders the day before the event.

Support on the night will come from Make Me residents Rubin, Rupes and Nic Baird.

AUDIO WERNER

In 2004 Audio Werner and friends created the label "Hartchef Discos". Since then he has produced many as unique as timeless releases. Evolving a selfmade recording of hundreds of crickets into a no.1 record was the first big leap into the world of housemusic production. (“Zwrtshak Drive”, Hartchef Discos 2004)
From then on he has released on Perlon, Circus Company, Hello?Repeat, Minibar and of course Hartchef whilst never losing sense of his own influences and delicate approach to the production of electronic dance music. His most recent record, the "Rushograph EP" on Minibar, got amazing feedback from dancefloors all over and will be followed soon by a new Audio Werner release on Hartchef.

THANKSMATE

"ThanksMate" is a bond formed by two very talented producers and DJs from Italy in 2011.
The expression of "ThanksMate" has derived from a culture and country that has given them the opportunity and freedom to formulate their music ideas together. Thus, ThanksMate was born with an objective to produce and show their fans their gratitude for their passionate support.

Fabio Agostini originally comes from a Dark Techno background in which he has been placed on some of the most important labels such as Elektrax Recordings and Naked lunch to name a few.
He is also heavily supported by other famous DJs with the likes from Dave Clarke, Ben Sims, Chris Liebing, Alex Karakasis and many more. He has also entered strongly several times on the Beatport top 50 in the Techno category. His latest release was with Nachstrom Schallplatten and platimum records.

On the contrary, Merko Palomba has gathered an extensive wide range of experience within the Deep house scenario with a release out on Globox from Sasha Carassi and supported by Jeff Samuel,Ralf and many others.

This has then resulted in a fusion taste for music in which they have integrated their mix of passion and devotion for electronic music into a fresh new and funky beat that will let you jump all night long. Already having spinned together with DJs like Troy Pierce,Audiofly,Jay Haze, Matt Tolfrey, Glimpse, Danny Benedettini, Mass Prod, Andrea Oliva, and many more. These duo are hungry for music, always in search of new ideas and for that perfect drop, they will be releasing their taste of fusion music very soon. So watch out for this two very talented DJs as they ready to shake the world of music up.

Lock N Load. Skreamism. Was On Friday, November 9th. @ Brixton Academy, 211 Stockwell Road, London, SW9 9SL, 10pm - 6am

On Friday 9th November Skreamizm makes its London debut at Brixton auditorium Electric. This will be Skream's final London show of 2012 and will take a back-to-basics approach: a dark room, a massive soundsystem, an extended set and a focus firmly on the music. Rather than staying in one place, they'll find Skream taking the crowd on a tour through the music he loves.

The idea for the Skreamizm shows was first seeded at Skream's birthday bash this year, where he played a set that took in everything from Boddika and 80s UK house to Donna Summer, all in a basement lit only by a single light. The energy between DJ and crowd was electric, reminiscent of Skream's early gigs in dark club spaces, making this an unmissable night for his devoted fans.

On the night Skream will play an extended 3 hour set alongside some very special guests. This includes drum and bass legend Goldie, who following outstanding performances at many of Europe’s leading festivals including Tomorrowland and Outlook, returns home to deliver his trademark beats. Route 94’s music has created worldwide rumours and huge speculation in recent months having been supported regularly on Skream & Benga and Annie Mac’s BBC Radio 1 shows. Their true identity still unknown, making this is one of the most anticipated sets to hit Skreamizm yet. Hijak completes the main room lineup having been a key figure since the beginning of Skream’s musical career. Originally an early jungle DJ, before moving onto drum and bass, Hijak is expected to tear the roof off Electric Brixton.

"It's about people going out, actually zoning in, and actually becoming at one with the music." Skream
