IA & Electronic Explorations. Swayzak. Was On Friday, November 23rd. @ The Waiting Room, 175 Stoke Newington High Street, London, N16 0LH, 10pm - 4am

Swayzak
Jerome Hill
Mister Sushi
Antepop

Following Inverted Audio’s September show, which featured a headline set from Luke Abbott, Inverted Audio collaborates with Electronic Explorations to present a techno fuelled evening from Swayzak on Friday 23rd November at The Waiting Room in Stoke Newington.

In the second of a bi-monthly series Inverted Audio have collaborated with Electronic Explorations, the weekly online radio show that showcases the furthest regions of the electronic landscape. With upwards of 80,000 listeners per week Electronic Explorations is a musical benchmark. Friday 23rd November also celebrates Electronic Explorations fifth anniversary.

The headlining DJ set comes from an artist who should require little introduction, Swayzak. Formed in 1993 Swayzak comprises of James S. Taylor and David Brown. With a sound that owes as much to the likes of Laurent Garnier and Richie Hawtin as it does the house techno sound they've helped pioneer via their four !K7 long players and their legendary Fabric 11 mix CD. In July 2012 David Brown released the solo debut S_W_Z_K album on Tresor, showcasing a sound deeply routed in techno and the club that home the label of the album release.

In main support a gentleman who is no stranger to Tresor, with an encyclopedic knowledge of music, Jerome Hill. Cutting his teeth in the early 90's, Jerome has DJ'd everywhere from Japan to Venezuala and is regarded as one of London's most forward thinking and hardest working electronic music trailblazers. His label Don't Records is known for some of the most unique techno records of recent years and Jerome's set on November 23rd will no doubt offer an insight into the label ethos and his incredible record collection.

Further turntable support comes from Mister Sushi and Inverted Audio founder and editor-in-chief Antepop.

Early arrival is suggested as you could be in for a chance to take away one of 50 limited edition mix CD’s recorded exclusively by Swayzak.

The Hydra. R&S Records with James Blake, Space Dimension Controller, Lone, Pariah. Was On Friday, November 23rd. @ at a secret location, 10pm - 6am

With a discography that spans a whopping four decades R&S Records have firmly cemented their place in electronic music history as connoisseurs of the genre both past and present. Classic acts like Aphex Twin, Model 500 and Joey Beltram have all played a part in the labels make-up yet they’ve had a big hand in the recent rise of the UK’s fragmented electronic scene by getting acts such as James Blake and Pariah at the embryonic stages in their respective careers. On Friday 23rd November James Blake will be stepping behind the decks for a DJ set that promises to encapsulate the diversity of the label whilst Mancunian psychedelic pop quartet Egyptian Hip-Hop play a live show showcasing tracks from their debut GOOD DONT SLEEP album. There’s also the chance to catch live sets from Vondelpark ahead of their forthcoming album and intergalactic funk musings from Irish beatsmith Space Dimension Controller. For an idea of where the UK is at right now then look no further than Lone who’s 90’s-influenced album Galaxy Garden is one of this year’s standout long players and Pariah who’s been busy as of late with his Karren techno project and his incredible 'Rift EP'. Also on DJ duties are Airhead and The Chain who've recently played an amazing back to back set at Green Man festival, as well as regular sets at the 1-800 Dinosaur night at Plastic People.

It's the last supernova dance of 2012 and we finish with a supersonic bang...

For our November adventure we welcome Amsterdam's longest running and iconic techno/house label, 100% Pure , for their official London label party and a very special showcase. Head honcho and super special guest 2000 and One is joined by 100% Pure stars Madskillz & Kaiserdisco (Drumcode / KD Music) ... The terrace vibrates to the sound of Sub Terrania with Zoo Project dynamic duo Nic & Kaleb taking centre stage... The Sunday West people create a musical riot in room three and the S/H/E/ collective return for their final fling in room 4. The supernova residents, friends and family also represent...

Its also Movember so we're throwing a moustache party - look out for the pop-up moustache parlour and more production around the spaces...

Many thanks to everyone who has helped take the party to another level this year and we hope you can join us on the dance floor for this years closing! x

• Kaiserdisco (Drumcode / KD Music)
Hamburg stars Kaiserdisco have continued their global dancefloor domination in 2012. Jumping between deep house to groovy techno, the duo have conjured a sound that sends dancefloors into a frenzy. Releases on Drumcode, 100% Pure, Strictly Rhythm, Global Underground and their own KD Music label have been continually supported by fellow stars such as Marco Carola, Locodice and many others. We look forward to welcoming them to the closing on the 17th...

• 2000 And One (100% Pure / Defected)
Vision and versatility - the DNA that defines 2000 and One (aka Dylan Hermelijn) as an artist. His pioneering vision across more than two decades of music genres, now ranks him as one the most versatile, in-demand international artists, commanding weekly performances on the house, techno and techhouse global club and festival circuits. Based in Amsterdam, his involvement with seven of the city’s finest techno, techhouse and house labels (inc. 100% Pure, Remote Area, Area Remote ) has offered a framework for the new generation of producers to hit the world stage. Producing many seminal releases throughout his career, outside of his own studio he's presented his Essential Mix on BBC Radio 1 and moved to the Defected House with a series of mixes, releasing a new sound energy that has propelled him to the global party hotspots across Europe and the Americas as well as debut in Russia and return to Japan. The white island called again for an exclusive summer residency at Ibiza’s Amnesia with Eric Prydz (Tonight), furthermore the Sensation madness that began in 2010 has continued with his back-to-back sessions with Joris Voorn , driving the 40.000 party people insane... We cant wait to let him loose in R1 and show you what 100% Pure is all about.....

•Nic & Kaleb (Zoo Project / Kameleon)
Zoo Project residents Nic & Kaleb take centre stage on the terrace. Ibiza party starters, the West London double act have this year launched their Kameleon project with Simon ‘Vicious Circle’ Vice and Jamie Funk (who also plays the terrace). The quartet’s debut release won them plaudits across the board and with forthcoming releases doing damage for a select crop of DJs, it’s safe to say Nic & Kaleb’s ear for quality stretches further than just behind the decks. With dates at some of the world’s most revered clubs under their belts - Fabric, Space and Cocoon to name just a few - a residency at one of Ibiza’s go-to-parties, and a blossoming production career, Nic & Kaleb’s journey is firmly underway but only really just getting started. Prepare yourselves for their performance...

• Madskillz (100% Pure / Noir / Mobilee)
International DJ and peaktime club producer, DJ Madskillz has been stoking up the dancefloor ovens for 2 decades now, fuelling the party crowds with his relentless energy for dynamic tech-house sets and dedicated dance releases and remixes. New technologies have given a sonic thrust to Madskillz’s sets, powered by a 4 deck Traktor dashboard he’s continuously pioneering fresh audio treats and breaking  conventional sound barriers, taking the party vibe from the regular tunes tour to a Madskillz sound sensation. Where ever he performs, his sets captivate the crowds and send them soaring on a hard-hitting sound adventure with dance mayhem as the final destination. Although living in the Dutch capital, some of the hottest techno and techhouse labels that have become his 2nd home include 100% Pure, Remote Area, Bitten, Noir Music, Mobilee Records, Great Stuff Recordings... And with remixes for a whole bunch of iconic friends such as Axwell, Christian Smith, Roger Sanchez, 2000 and One, Rainer Weichhold, Gregor Tresher, Underworld and Bob Sinclar – there’s clearly a lot of justified hype for Madskillz tunes and treatments. Hold on tight and enjoy the ride...

The Date. DJ Spen & Karizma and Horse Meat Disco. Was On Saturday, November 17th. @ The Loft Studios, 87 Scrubs Lane, London, 10pm - 5am

After three killer parties with US house legends Tony Humphries, Kerri Chandler and Timmy Regisford, 'The Date' returns on Sat Nov 17th with America's biggest house duo Spen+Karizma. From their pioneering work in the early days of house as part of The Basement Boys through to their remix work for artists as big as Michael Jackson, Alicia Keys and Everything But The Girl, Dj Spen + Karizma have stayed firmly at the forefront of house to this day. Their back to back set is a must see as they work their 4 cdj's simultaneously bringing massive energy and dj artistry to their 4 hour set upstairs in the wood beamed loft. They are supported by Date resident Stuart Patterson who will warm the loft up in proper deep house style before Baltimore's finest take over.

We welcome our favourite disco bears Horse Meat Disco to host the ground floor as founders Jim Stanton and James Hillard drop 4 hours of pure disco heaven. Supporting Jim and James are The Dates' Tim Keenoy and Faith's Dave Jarvis. X-Press 2 showed how nicely the ground floor can work at our last party but we think downstairs is going to properly come into it's own on Nov 17th as London's disco massive come out for some Horse Meat Disco.

The covered courtyard will naturally be in full effect with the usual amazing imagery & effects too ... !!!

2 different sounds in 2 different environments adds up to an unmissable end of the year party!!! And after this, it's all about 2013 ...
