Come and get in to the Christmas spirit with us on Sunday the 16th December at West London's premium venue, the twisted Santa's grotto that is the world famous Supperclub in the heart of Ladbroke Grove.

After his sensational vinyl only set at our last jam we welcome back JUST BE! (Bushwacka!) to take charge of the underground grotto and dish out musical treats to all those ravers that have been good, bad and terrible this year.
As one the biggest names in the global dance music scene, this West London resident needs absolutley no introduction at all.

His chief helper on the night will be Crosstown Rebels loyalist FB JULIAN.

Julian is now best known for being resident at 'Kubicle', London's most infamous after hours party, playing alongside such guests as Jamie Jones, Matthew Styles, M.A.N.D.Y., Tobi Neuman, Rhadoo, Pier Bucci and many more. Hypercolour Showcase. Maya Jane Coles & Bareskin . Was On Saturday, December 15th. @ at a secret location, 10pm - 6am

Following on from a monstrously vibe filled Summer Showcase with Groove
Armada and Todd Edwards in August, Hypercolour once more invite you into
their musical embrace for another huge party this coming December 15th

This time around Hypercolour's First Lady, Maya Jane Coles will lead
proceedings alongside a full Hypercolour turn out that includes Alex Jones,
Bareskin, Cedric Maison and Ste Roberts.

Maya has long been a mainstay for the label, with early releases such as the
seminal Hummingbird E.P playing a major part in accelerating her towards
becoming the international star that she is today.......

Front covers for the likes of Mixmag (UK), Groove (Germany), Crack (UK),
Vicious (Spain), Bed (Thailand), DJ Mag weekly (UK), Ziggy (Singapore),
Guestlist Network (UK) and Space (Ibiza) as well as coverage in the likes
of Spin (USA), Nylon (USA), DJ Times (USA), DJ Mag (Italy), Taz (Germany),
El Pais (Spain) and every blog worth it's salt have created lots of hype but
it's Maya's own productions, remixes, dj sets and mixes that have added
the substance to back it all up.

Joining the voices of supporters as varied as Anja Schneider to Damon Alburn
to Tricky; Maya recently scooped 'Best House/Garage/Deep House' track at the
Miami Winter Music Conference and 'Staff Pick: Artist of the year 2011' at the
Beatport Awards to join her other accomplishments including DJ Mag's ‘Producer
of the Year 2011′, Mixmag's ‘Best Breakthrough DJ 2011′, ‘Best Newcomer 2011′
at the Ibiza DJ Awards 2011, 'five Best New Artists for April' in Spin, FACT's '
Female Artist 2011', even British Vogue's 'Single of the Week' (!) and of course
debuting at No. 9 on the Resident Advisor ’2011 DJ Poll’.

Maya is showing no sign of stopping with the DJ Kicks compilation released and
charting internationally, visits to 30 countries in the diary over the
next 12 months and a host of new releases and remixes set to follow and of course –
the biggest of them all due later this year; the release of Maya’s debut album.

Still very much a regular contributor, this is a rare chance to see her play
with her label mates in a raw East London warehouse style setting.

Joining Maya is the incredibly talented Bareskin, who's recent EPs for
Hypercolour and sister label Losing Suki have been turning heads across the
music industry. He will be joined by label head, Alex Jones, who is going
from strength to strength, remixes of Groove Armada themselves now adding to
his ever growing discography.

Hypercolour co founder Cedric Maison and label A&R Ste Roberts complete the
bill, bringing the soul of the label to the controls for what will
undoubtedly be another musical masterclass from Londons most exciting house
label.

Tickets are available exclusively from Resident Advisor and with Maya Jane Coles
heading the cast we would highly recommend getting yours sooner rather
than later!

2020Vision 12hr Xmas Session. Chez Damier, Andre Lodemann, Ralph Lawson, Climbers. Was On Saturday, December 15th. @ Village Underground, 54 Holywell Lane, London, EC2A 3PQ, 6pm- 6am

Saturday December 15th sees 2020Vision return to London's Village Underground for their annual xmas blowout. Dubbed a highlight of the clubbing calendar year - previous 2020 Christmas shows have played host to the likes of Andrew Weatherall, Lindstrom Live, Crazy P, Tensnake Live, Subb-An and more, whilst delivering and sharing some truly unique moments such as legendary House Music institution Backtobasics' 20 year anniversary. Once again the exclusive xmas warehouse session will be stretched over a mammoth 12 hours in order to accommodate the creme de la creme of world DJ talent, old and new.

Headlining we are flying in Chicago House legend CHEZ DAMIER who celebrates his 20th anniversary year in the UK, after Ralph Lawson first brought him to Leeds back in 1992. A legendary figure in electronic music, Chez Damier has played close witness to many of the pivotal moments in the history of house and techno. Jointly responsible with partner Ron Trent for both Prescription Records - widely recognised as one of the greatest labels of all time - and The Morning Factory, one of the most ethereal jams ever to rock a room, Chez Damier carries abound the true soul of house music. Late 80's and early 90's Chicago, alongside label partners Kevin Saunderson and Ron Trent, saw Damier create the musical legacy that would guaranteed his legend. Immortal cuts like 'Sometimes I Feel Like', 'The Choice' and 'Be My' - remain unparalleled examples of the house music genre, thus it gives us great pleasure to welcome Chez to London for his debut 2020Vision show.

It’s hard to imagine a deeper, warmer combination of house and techno than what Best Works boss ANDRE LODEMANN serves up. Releases on labels such as Buzzin Fly, Freerange, Simple and Rebirth have seen Lodemann quickly rise to the top of the deep house tree. Long admired by masters of the deep such as Kerri Chandler and Charles Webster, the Berlin producer pairs club-ready vibes with some of the most colourful and utterly heartfelt melodies that have been pressed to vinyl in a hot minute, and has a knack for teasing sweet, warm and sumptuous sounds out of his record bag, perfect for those cold winter 2020 nights! His seminal 2009 track 'Where are you now?' remains one of the world's greatest ever slabs of house music, and typifies Lodemann's unique emotive sound.

RALPH LAWSON is the founder of 2020Vision and the original resident DJ from the legendary BacktoBasics club in Leeds now in it's record breaking 21st year. He is also part of 2020Soundsystem who regularly perform the world over at festivals and clubs such as Sonar, Space Ibiza, Exit Festival and Fabric. Alongside production partner Carl Finlow aka Random Factor he is responsible for creating classic remixes of 'Blaze - Lovelee Dae' and 'Felix Da Housecat's - The Light', and their own 'Raptures Of The Deep' and 'Spanish Fly'. Lawson has more than 10 major DJ Mix compilations to his name including his highly acclaimed Fabric 33 mix, and in addition to Backtobasics and 2020Vision residencies, Ralph is also resident at We Love Space in Ibiza, of which he recently mixed their summer album.

CLIMBERS are Mexicali duo, Jay Blakk and Kiko Deal, who despite forming little over a year ago, have already been making serious waves around the dance music world with a fresh-faced take on house music. Their debut ‘Law Of Attraction’ EP on Culprit, and more recent top 5 hit 'Equal Responsibility' on M.A.N.D.Y's Get Physical imprint, as well as a slew of buzz worthy remixes for labels such as Moodmusic, Lower East, Noir Music and Electronique have already found their way into the crates of some of the hottest underground dance acts including Jamie Jones, Art Department, James Teej, My Favorite Robot, Tanner Ross, Miguel Campbell, Catz n Dogz, and Richy Ahmed. Climbers’ signature sound is one of classic house percussions, emphatic electronic baselines, old school vocal sampling and atmospheric synth pads that are currently pushing all the right buttons. Serving up a mix of both new and unreleased material, together with an explosive DJ set, means this London performance is not to be missed.

2020Vision new signing OSSIE is one of the brightest talents in UK house music. Ossie's love for live sounding percussion and natural drums has led to him creating unique tracks such as 'Tarantula' and 'Super Cali', and recently reworked Mercury Music prize nominees Hot Chip. His recent FACT mix showcases his unique signature bass-led sound and is full to the brim with dance music weapons and his own sublime remixes.

The mysterious Leeds-based artist who goes by LAST MAGPIE is a new breakthrough producer on the UK dance scene who was notably featured on Maya Jane Coles' recent DJ-Kicks mix. Backed up by Maya Jane Coles' endorsement, the Yorkshire-based producer is an experienced creator of finely tuned 2step hybrids, and his latest club smash 'Who Know's Where Love Goes' has been riding high in the deep house charts for weeks now. Last Magpie and 2020 resident Danny Raper add the icing to the 2020 xmas cake and round off this carefully curated house music line-up in style.

The Hydra: Bugged Out. Night Slugs with Bok Bok, L Vis 1990, Jam City, Soundstream. Was On Saturday, December 15th. @ at a secret location, 10pm - 6am

Bok Bok
L Vis 1990
Jam City
Girl Unit

Special Guest: Soundstream (live)

The final month of The Hydra kicks off with Bugged Out present Night Slugs on Saturday 15th December, which showcases the London imprint’s finest talents and one of their personal heroes. The special guest this time around is Disco enthusiast Soundstream who’s remarkable edits and sample-laden cuts have seen the Panorama Bar affiliate build up a repertoire of buy-on-site releases that bring back hazy memories of yesteryear. Label-heads Bok Bok and L-Vis 1990 are known for their genre-defying sets that can range from Garage to Techno to early UK Grime and have been known to go back to back for hours on end. Jam City’s recent Classical Curves LP has seen the producer come into his own both technically and musically whilst Girl Unit has been playing around with live 808’s and synthesizers by the sounds of his latest Club Rez EP so don’t surprised if he drops the odd Prince tune in his set.
