Spreading the Yuletide cheer, XOYO invites you to their very-own Christmas party. Our gifts to you? Prolific dancefloor heavy-weights: Digitalism and Jacques Lu Cont. Promising to provide a ridiculously big electro soundtrack and the last blow-out before NYE; take a break from the turkey and come play.

Reverberations presents RvS. Ian Pooley, Asad Rizvi, Paul Soul, Nick Day, and Varon V. Was On Friday, December 28th. @ at a secret location, 10pm - 6am

One cold and starry night in December 1994, one tiny, beguiling creature poked its nose through its delicate eggshell in the dark recesses of a North London pub. This beast, the accidental love-child of a certain Tom Gillieron and one Asad Rizvi, was bright-eyed, clumsy and hungry. They named him Reverberations. He soon grew his whiskers and learned the ways of the world. He was often found alone in rooms making inimitable repetitive noises that would thereafter be stored on magical black discs. These disks quickly gained repute the world over, and it wasn’t long before the animal could be seen poking his whiskers in hundreds of cities around the globe, so people may hear him making these strange noises in front of them. The creature got so swept away by its passion that he needed to be managed, and its parents decided to assign to it a third parent, Paul Soul.

Cut to 17 years later, the creature was tired. It looked in the mirror in terror of its coming of imminent coming-of-age. All it saw was that long awkward word, Reverberations. “These syllables, they are the wrinkles of my age!” it declared desperately. And without haste, the beast flew to Russia to see a plastic surgeon, who carefully gave it wonderful facelift free of any such “wrinkles”. Rejuvenated, the animal returned home as “RvS”.

RvS is full of beans again, hopping with ideas and creativity. We very proud to announce that our headline act is none other than the House music hero, Ian Pooley, who will be flying over from Germany to rock our socks off and celebrate his birthday.

The theme? Woodland life. Think fairies and enchanted forests.

There are numerous treats and extras to be announced as the party approaches.

Limited bird tickets are £10, so grab them while you can.

Peculiar presents.... Guy Gerber, The Martinez Brothers, Ibellini. Was On Wednesday, December 26th. @ Hoxton Docks, 55 Laburnum Street, London, E2 8BD, 10pm - 6am

PECULIAR
http://www.facebook.com/peculiarlife
Peculiar aims to bring together like-minded artists, amalgamating Sonics and visuals, creating each event as an individual and inspirational episode. The birth of Peculiar began last year by a small group of friends who had the desire to harmonize imagination with core values of quality music and baffling setups.
At Peculiar we are very excited to open the doors to our home, Hoxton Docks, and invite you to join us for a Peculiar Family Christmas…
The Mayan prophesy claims that the 3 days of darkness will happen on the 21st December 2012. Fortunately we’ll be ready for the 26th!

MARTINEZ BROTHERS
If you've ever seen the Martinez Brothers spin, you know that what sets them apart aren’t just their skills, but their seemingly limitless energy and age! These guys are practically the definition of new blood.
They’re mesmerizing non-stop moves, lean & lanky, with ear-to-ear grins, makes them look like they were born to move. With a summer long DC10 residency under their belts, their tune selection is bound to make you move.
After a year of smashing it around the World we are very excited to welcome them to the Peculiar family for Christmas at the Docks

GUY GERBER
Gerber has had Releases on some of the biggest labels around, Cocoon, Bedrock and Visionquest as well as being label boss of Supplement Facts. A Fabric album comprised solely of his productions; and a collaborative album with Diddy, that will open all kinds of doors in the underground scene.
Guy continues to release what can only be described as timeless pieces of art. It helps to have a fetish for live instruments, whilst having the skill for keeping the audience locked in be it on record or on stage.
We are pleased to welcome Guy back to play for Peculiar after his storming success playing for us last May.

Circus X-Mass. Lee Foss (Hot Natured), Matador - Live (Minus), Yousef. Was On Saturday, December 22nd. @ Egg, 200 York Way, Kings X, London, N7, 10pm - 10am

Lee Foss (Hot Natured)
Matador (live) (Minus)
Yousef (Circus/Cocoon)
+ more TBA

The final Circus London of the year rounds off a frenetic 2012 for the clubnight’s forages into the capital.

Yousef has had quite the 2012. A brilliantly received second album has been combined with a slew of killer singles and a hotly lusted after record label in Circus Recordings, further establishing the aural snapshot of the club into the releases realm. He was recently asked once again to provide an Essential Mix off the back of Circus' decade of dance, the result met with widespread acclaim by the dance music community. It was easy to see why; it was emblematic of the floor wrecking which has been his template since the mid nineties, DJ sets traversing house and techno that ooze with funk and charisma. It's a template which is quickly making Yousef's Circus sets in London as feted as they are in Liverpool, establishing his and Circus' musical vision beyond his hometown.

Proceedings are bolstered by a turn from Lee Foss. He's been behind, alongside Jamie Jones, the hottest label of recent times Hot Creations, blazing an emphatic trail on the current electronic music landscape. His true house music heritage (Foss is a born and raised Chicago native) has combined with the Hot Creations and his own personal signature, injecting warmth and emotion back into house music - adding humanity back into the machines. Like Yousef he has also mixed a recent Essential Mix to universal approval and has tasted recent chart success with Hot Natured's ‘Benediction' nestling into the UK top 30, a rare achievement for a record to untie the record buying public and the world's dancefloors.

Minus' moody techno doyen Matador also joins the soiree, the creator of some of the most evocative and heartfelt electronica in recent times fresh off a year touring across the world's biggest clubs and festivals. The Irish producer has delivered a stunning update to Bryan Zentz' classic ‘D-Clash' as well as creating the ‘Kingswing' EP, five slabs of stadium shattering sonics that saw widespread love from the likes of Loco Dice, Seth Troxler, Sven Vath and Steve Lawler. Further announcements on the line-up are due imminently.
