Warm. Nick Hoppner, Auntie Flo plus Warm residents. Was On Friday, January 18th. @ Corsica Studios, 5 Elephant Road, London, SE17 1LB, 10pm - 6am

On Friday January 18th we are extremely excited to be taking over the second room at Corsica Studios again for a very special Warm session. For one night only Room 1 will remain shut to enable us to keep the event intimate just how we like it so we can take over all night long from start to finish with no interruptions.

For this session we are delighted to welcome back Ostgut Ton label boss Nick Hoppner. After his fantastic sets over the last eighteen months he has firmly become one of our favourite DJ's around and after the previous Room 2 session we just had to invite him back.

As co-founder of Ostgut Ton Nick has probably spent more time in Berghain and Panorama Bar than most, and his DJ sets and productions reflect the vast wealth of inspired music that fills the famed club every weekend. To immerse one's self within Nick's typically extended DJ sets rewards similar multi-faceted discoveries. Always telling a tale, weaving an exciting path across his chosen musical spectrum - whether its a tough, raw and energetic house-party set, a dramatic big-room techno adventure, or anything in between - Nick's mature, confident approach and depth of character sets him apart from his contemporaries behind the decks.

Be it through his monthly residencies at Berghain/Panoramabar and Watergate, his solo releases for Ostgut Ton, his expansive DJ touring, his acclaimed co-production and live performances alongside Lee Jones as MyMy, or indeed his creative involvement and management of the Ostgut label since its inception, Nick Hoppner stands out as a unique, long-serving and truly dedicated figure in today's electronic music world. Sensitive to the history, emotions, stories and situations that derive from this music, for Nick the scope and eclecticism available within the 4/4 rhythm allows him great freedom to express his tastes and musical instincts.

For this very special session we also welcome a very special guest and another favourite of ours at Warm HQ - Auntie Flo. After his recent releases on H+P, a killer RA podcast and a split release with Nick Hoppner himself who better to join the party.

With support from the Warm residents come along and beat those January blues!

xoyo. Jackmaster x T Williams x Bondax x Ms Dynamite. Was On Friday, January 18th. @ XOYO, 32—37 Cowper Street, London, EC2A 4AP, 9pm - 3am

As well as being the co-founder of Numbers – one of the UK’s fastest rising record labels and party planners – Jackmaster is one hell of a DJ. Having absolutely obliterated the final segment of this 2010’s Sonar By Day festivities with his unrelenting selection panache, he proved as adept at maiming big crowds as he is at keeping those London basement venue goers from hanging around outside smoking.

Bondax’s evocative music seems to drift between urban sonic landscapes, avoiding classification. Incorporating elements of post-dubstep, R&B, and garage, the Lancaster based duo craft an intimate, electronic bliss that reveals something new with each repeated play. Despite the fact that Adam and George are still enjoying their teens, their music shimmers with a maturity and sophistication that belies their age.

Dutch technical pioneer, San Proper will be taking a break from his extroverted live show to build an imaginative house DJ set suitable to the surroundings of our own Room One. We know San as an ambassador of the Amsterdam electronic scene, releasing next level tracks regularly on Rush Hour and collaborating with Ricardo Villalobos on his Animal LP this year. Together with Craig Richards, they join Portable, aka Bodycode, who is both accessible and idiosyncratic in his live act, bringing his wide influences (born in Africa, living in London and now Berlin) to bear his deep vocal-led productions on Perlon and Spectral Sound.

Redlight presents Trus’ Me’s album launch in Room Two, where he’ll be celebrating his third artist album, Treat Me Right which fully maintaining the hallmarks of Trus Me’s old productions whilst working within a more techno-inspired framework. Terry Francis joins the special occasion with Marcus Inatalex’s techno venture, Trevino, and Holland’s Conforce who combines digital and analogue atmospheres in his live show of house, techno and dub rarities.

Delusions Of Grandeur, the label ran by Jimpster, who also leads the legendary Freerange Records, will be heating up Room Three, with the label head himself inviting special guests who have regular support on the label: deep house and disco stalwart’s Session Victim and Norm De Plume.

Tief presents. My Love Is Underground Label Night. Was On Saturday, January 12th. @ Corsica Studios, 5 Elephant Road, London, SE17 1LB, 10pm - 6am

Tief are very proud to present 'My Love Is Underground Label Night London / MLIU14 exclusive record sale'

The 'My Love Is Underground' label has reached cult status in the last couple of years with the resurgence of 90s house bringing to the surface a lot of music that was simply lost in time.

Jeremy Fichon aka 'Jeremy Underground Paris' lives for music.
He devotes all his time to digging for rare records, unreleased music and researching the people who made the music for which he digs so deep for.
It was in New York City that Jeremy found some archived music on old tape decks produced by underground names like Nathaniel X and Jerzzey Boy (who had since sold his drum machines and MPC to become a cop) and after 4 years spent tracking the elusive characters down managed to release a select few of these tracks on his very own imprint 'MLIU'. Since those first releases, Jeremy has released music alongside his good friend 'Brawther' (also affiliated with Balance and Secretsundaeze), Inner Sense and SE62.

The MLIU approach is very 'DIY', pressing a very limited number of records for each release, hand stamping them and selling them from his home in Paris, every release has sold out in hours making them very sort after.

Along side Jeremy's label, he also takes the art of djing very seriously indeed, taking pleasure in playing his records to people who want to be educated, who want to hear new (or more to the point old) sounds that they have not heard before.
Check out Jeremy's soundcloud to get an idea of what to expect!

Since attending the legendary MLIU label party at The Batofar in Paris last year, we were desperate to recreate the party at our London home, Corsica Studios;
"One room, Very limited capacity, intimate, vinyl only, house music all night long.."

We are also very excited indeed to announce that 200 copies of the latest release in the much sort after MLIU vinyl series (MLIU014) will be available EXCLUSIVELY at the event on the night!

Tom Ruijg [Hot Waves / Bangbang! / Karat Records]

Tom Ruijg's story of how and why he became an artist is somewhat of a fairytail. After spending a big part of his teenage life on the dancefloor, Tom picked up DJ'ing in 2007 and a year later he started producing. Getting instant acknowledgment from Amsterdam house artists like Boris Werner, Tom released two remixes shortly after. His first solo 12" followed early in 2010 on BangBang! It was an instant hit and BangBang! decided to sign him for two more singles. Starting to play live aside from DJ'ing Tom became more and more versatile and respected. Now, some years later with a full 12" on Karat hitting the stores and tracks on one of the world's hottest labels (Hot Creations), Tom's future is as bright as ever.

Blowing the Birthday candles out on the night trusty residents Natalie Coleman & Ed Jones will be in charge of dishing out techno bumps to all the MOOCH familiar.... x
