Shameless Disco presents. Ethyl & Flori. Was On Friday, August 6th. @ The Horse & Groom, 28 Curtain Road, Shoreditch EC2, 9pm - 4am

For the next instalment of the blossoming love affair between Shameless Disco and the Horse & Groom, we are delighted to welcome deep house merchants Ethyl & Flori onto our humble dancefloor. These two mini Moodymen first came to our attention with the Trimley EP, released late last year on Jimpster’s always excellent Freerange label. That was swiftly followed with the Paisley Riffs 12” on British deep haus imprint Quintessentials. By this stage one thing was certain: these lads have talent.

Supporting on the night we’ve got another DJ of some repute: Benjamin Sun. The Australian born, London based producer has already released two fine EPs on the fledgling Voyerhythm imprint (which as well as being a great little label can also be spelled any of 37 ways). He counts Reggie Dokes, Jacques Renault and Steffi among his many admirers, so be sure to come down early to check out his warm up set.

Click Presents.... w/ Lewis Ryder & DJ Uone. Was On Thursday, August 5th. @ Aquarium, 256 Old Street, London, EC1V, 11pm - 6am

Wang. w/ Abe Duque, Blake Baxter, Andrew Weatherall. Was On Sunday, August 1st. @ Dalston Superstore, 117 Kingsland High St, London, E8 2PB., 8pm - 2am

Abe Duque
Blake Baxter
Andrew Weatherall
Electro Elvis
Simon Busby (Glitterball)
Ben Lyford

After headlining Fabric playing live on the Saturday night, Abe Duque and Blake Baxter play an ultra rare back to back DJ set for WANG at the Dalston Superstore on Sunday night.

This is a unique chance to see two US dance music legends playing in such a small venue,

As if this wasn't reason enough to get you out on a Sunday night, we also have Andrew Weatherall gracing the decks, alongside Electro Elvis, Simon Busby and Ben Lyford.
All this for only a fiver, we must be mad!

THE PRINCE OF TECHNO COMES TO DALSTON!
BLAKE BAXTER should need no introduction, one of the first wave of Detroit techno pioneers, he released ‘When we used to play’ way back in 1987 on Kevin Saunderson’s KMS records, also responsible for the 4th release on the legendary U.R. record label, the ‘Prince of Techno EP’, earned Blake the title he is still known by today. Over the years Blake has released many other seminal techno tracks, such as ‘Sexuality’ and ‘Brother’s gonna work it out’ (as sampled by the Chemical Brothers) usually featuring his trademark sex-laden vocals.

ABE DUQUE started out his career at the infamous New York Limelight nightclub in 1993, and has been at the forefront of Underground Techno and Acid House ever since. His productions combine ‘old school’ leanings with cutting edge production techniques, marrying the old and new style like no other producer working today. IMHO one of the best techno producers in the world right now. And with his debut album Live And On Acid just about to drop, you can guarantee you'll be seeing a lot more of him soon.

ANDREW WEATHERALL
What can I say that hasn't been said before?

If you like small sweaty 'avinit parties, this is one not to miss!

In the main arch Eric Prydz is joined by rising superstars, Gui Boratto and Popof with support from Brick Lane cool cats Finale (www.finale-london.com).

Eric Prydz needs no introduction and stands alone in his ability to mix commercial success with underground notoriety. Acknowledged by Beatport as one of their biggest selling artists of all time, he runs his own labels including PRYDA and the more techno orientated Mouseville. He’s featured at every major festival and event around the globe, and with his first artist album ready to drop on Pryda Recordings this is your chance to see a unique artist in a truly underground setting.

Gui Boratto originates from Sao Paulo, Brazil and is firmly establishing himself as one of the most in demand artists across the globe. Working closely with Kompakt he boasts a continuous string of very successful releases on K2, Audiomatique, Renaissance, Harthouse, and Plastic City amongst others. If his last road block appearance at London’s Cable is anything to go by, it’s best to get in quick.

Finale have been rocking dance floors in East London for over 12 months with some very cool parties at the Brick House and with Muak at Egg…make sure you get down early to hear these guys delivering some Balearic Bohemia.

In arch 2 we welcome special guests Lost Souls (www.lostsoulspromotions.com). Lost Souls have been putting some of London’s most cutting edge techno events with special guests that have included Cristian Valera, Carl Craig, A Guy Called Gerald and much more. This time round they are taking control of arch 2 with very special guest Par Grindvik from Adam Beyer’s label Drumcode.

Kyle Vialli, one of Europe's Leading Vitality Consultant's and Living/Food Pioneers, will dispel once and for all, the confusion and dismay that comes with the question “So what in the World am I supposed to eat?”. Guiding us through the central axioms of nutrition, Kyle will dissolve the common confusions, allowing us to gain a new found understanding of something we do all the time.

Drawing from over 7 years of highly focused results-based research in the field of human nutrition, Kyle will reconcile the different arenas and systems that comprise the “nutritional maze” so as to guide us in making confident and empowered food choices for the rest of our enlivened lives.

Kyle will touch on the following

"Fruit!” “No Fruit!”

“Carb Loading!” “No Carbs!”…

“Sprouted Foods is ok, right?”…….

“Now I think someone once told me that this food on an empty stomach after noon is alright, or was that only if it I was blood type O!”…..

“Saturated fats or no fats at all, juiced or blended, hot or cold. To eat, or not to eat!”
Whether you have never studied nutrition, or whether you have been exploring the subject for decades, you will surely benefit from Kyle’s pioneering insights
“The purpose of nutrition is to fuel our lives, and the quality of our nutritional intake is highly implicated in the quality of our lives; it profoundly activates our ability to live our awaken”.
